buy.com's pricing, order speed and accuracy have always been quite good. However, they recently sent me an email with an electronic coupon. The website was buggy and the coupon didn't work properly. When I emailed customer service, they claimed this was because the coupon expired--it had not, and they clearly had no method of or interest in determining the expiration date. A followup method message went unanswered. Very disappointed with this clueless customer service.
More recent occasion: Placed an order for an item that was supposedly in stock and ships within a day. Order went to "Sent to Warehouse" status and stayed there for 4 business days. Sent an email requesting status, and received response that essentially said they were out of stock and didn't know when more items would be available. Yet, the product page still showed availability. I canceled the order; confirmation of the cancellation took about 3 days.
