I ordered an OCZ 2GB Dual Channel kit from Newegg on Dec 15th, put the mail in rebate in the mail the day after I got ram. 3 months later, still no rebate check. I contacted newegg, they gave me the OCZs rebate center number, which I called. They said they never recieved my rebate submission, and requested that I fax over a copy of all my rebate paperwork. Good thing I copied everything before mailing it out :/ OCZ said that I would have to wait about 7 days for a check to arrive. 2 weeks later OCZ never acknowleged recieving my fax, and still no check in the mail. I contacted Newegg again through live chat and spoke with *Scott*, who informed me that he would credit me the rebate amount from newegg, on OCZs behalf. Scott did a great job helping me with my issue, and got everything squared away.

Manufacturer's welching on rebates --

Just another reason to buy from Newegg, they back their rebates up.

Item arrived timely, but I was put off by having to pay via paypal. I expexct that a reseller would have a visa or mastercard merchant account. Also don't expect too much e-mail communication. Good price though.

After having problems with resellers such as pclink2000.com I decided to pay the extra $4 and go with someone like avlogic. My order was easy to place, and the website was easy to navagate as well. I recieved an e-mail confirmation and a shipping confirmation!! I placed my order on 8/28 and recieved it on 9/2. It would have come on 9/1 but it was labor day. I absolutly recommend paying the extra $$ to go with someone with out any problems. Though some of thier stuff is a bit pricy.

Placed order on Friday 8/15, Stated "please adjust website price to reflect price watch price, no substitutions, if your out of stock, e-mail or call me." (shouldn't it already be the same price, not $.99 more expensive?) I recieve an e-mail confirming my order. I wait 2 days with no shipping e-mail. I go to check the status of my order. "Your order has been cancelled" So I make a phone call using the number listed on thier site, answering machine picks up, CS hours are from 9-12 (3hours, WTH?)I call again the next day, have to leave message, no one ever calls back. I send 2 e-mails asking why my order was cancelled. Finnally 8/21 I recieve a response e-mail stating "(Second notice... Cancellation) Your order was cancelled because we are out of stock." Well gee thanks for telling me, I just love waiting a week to find these things out. (AND NO, THEY DIDN'T SEND A FIRST NOTICE!) Don't follow my order asking you to notify me, wait till I complain then trash my order. Are these the kind of people you want to give your hard earned money to? Read thier other reveiws, they aren't doing too well.

I placed my order on the 22nd, creditcard was charged on the 23rd. I recieved a confermation e-mail. So I wait.... and wait.... and wait. 5 days later, still no package. It's coming from NJ to MD. First class only takes 2-3 days. But these people, After waiting 5 days for it, I called them (28th) . I asked where my damn order was. "Oh, it shipped out yesterday, have a nice day." -> same typical bullshit answer for "we are out of stock, but didn't tell you, 'cause we need your money." It finaly arrived today the 31st. Looking on the package it shipped out 2 days ago (29th). I thought they said it was the 27th? My first last and only order from this "company" -> I use the term loosely.

OK, I've been ripped off a few times by other companies, so when I placed my order I was concered about the cost of shipping. I felt that they charged too much. However, dispite my complaint, when I completed my order it ARRIVED OVERNIGHT!! It was worth the 7 dollars. Their communication was excellent. My e-mails were responded to in only a few hours or less each time. I ordered a Vantec hi-power TMD fan, and by mistake they sent a normal fan. Since the two fans look exactly alike it was clear that it was just an honest mistake. They offered to send me the correct one free of charge, and said to keep the old one for the trouble. I have had a lot of bad expereince with on-line retailers. It's nice to know that there are good retailers out there. Definatly recommended.

UPDATE:
The day I posted this review, Danny from ENPC.com called me at 7:00pm, to express his anger over the bad review. I can't even complain without being harassed. He said that "He is trying to run a good buisness." I told him that I felt I was treated poorly by his company, and that what they did was NOT good customer service. (I work in retail, I *know* what customer service is) We had a long debate on the phone over who's fault it was that I recieved the wrong fan the first time. I ordered 30+ parts that week for building 2 computer systems, and that was the only one that was wrong, still as careful as I was, it's possible I ordered the wrong fan the FIRST time. However, that doesn't give his people the right to address me over the phone the way they did. Danny said he yelled at his people and made sure it would not happen again. It is still true that no one looked at the HSF I sent back to find the NOTE saying that I needed the AMD HSF. Danny said I should have written it on the box. I guess its also my fault the second time. Well next time instead of putting a note IN the box like every other resller asks for I'll make sure to write it ON the box. (I wrote the RMA# on the box, then put a note in with the fan, the first time I had to send the wrong fan back.) I did finally recieve the AMD HSF on thursday, third time around for those not counting.

P.S. Since I know your going to be reading this Danny, please don't call or e-mail me again asking me to change my review. I updated it as I promised. Your company did send the right fan the third time, and I told everone that as well as what we talked about. If you are unhappy with this review, then I suggest that you take it as lesson to improve your customer service, as pissing off even one customer does have its consequences. My other suggestion is to put someone in the RMA dept., that can communicate better over the phone. Thankyou for your time, Have a NICE day. -Tony

Original Post:
I ordered a Vantec Areoflow HSF for an AMD XP processor. Paid 2nd day air. It arrived in a timely manner, But (there always a but) they sent the wrong one. They sent a HSF for a P4 proccessor. So I called them, first I got an irritating rep who insisted that I ordered the wrong part in the first place. After arguing with her for 10 minutes on the phone and getting nowhere, I finally gave in, just so I could get what I needed. she then suggested that I ship back the HSF and they would send me another. So I asked "Who is paying for the Shipping?", She LAUGHED out loud on the phone and said "of course you are". Like it was some kind of big joke. I *HATE* this woman. Then I was transfered to their RMA dept. I was put on the phone with a person who has such a bad accent, he has to repeat everythng 5 times before I can understand him. He gave me an RMA number and with some convincing he agreed to ship UPS 2nd day. I shipped it friday with a note *clearly* explaing that I wanted the one for an AMD XP. However, this is not where my tale ends.

I recieved the replacement HSF today. Lo and Behold its the SAME WRONG ONE!! Damn these people, cant they do anything right? I called them up, nobody remebers anything. So I give the same bad accent guy my RMA number and he said I did not send a note. Which shouldn't matter because I told him the first time we spoke that I needed one for an AMD!! I asked him if he looked in the box I sent the HSF in, he said "let me check". He comes back to the phone, and says "Whatever, so you need the oe for the AMD right?" He obviously found my note, whatever, right? He said he can shipout the AMD HSF today, but refuses to do next day. And I have to take a day off work to give the UPS guy the wrong one they sent me. We will have to see if they can manage to at least send the right one this time.

Are the words "Bait and Switch" familiar? I ordered a stick of Geil PC2700 512Mb memory with CL2-5-2-2 advertised timings. It arrived promptly well packaged, but a closer inspection of the module revealed the label says 2-5-3-3 timings, slower. Not much slower, but not what I payed for. After calling and dealing with a rep who had no idea what the hell he was selling, I asked to speak with his manager. Some guy name Lawrence picked up the phone and gave me some bullshit excuse about the manufacture changing the specs and not telling them. Please.. I am NOT that stupid. He was willing to take it back at 15% less and my cost of shipping. He refused to give me some credit for the slower memory and told me I had 7 days to send it back. I am not the only one who got less than what was payed for. Or less than what was advertised. Just be sure to inspect your goods upon reciept. And tell Lawrence to drop the act, were not falling for it.

Placed order on Jan 10th for a Mid tower case with square window, all case fans included. 5 days later no order confermation, no response to my order comments, except my bank account $200 less. Several unanswered e-mails (typical for this company, read other reviews)later I decided to call. 15 rings before I got a polite woman named maggie, but a bad accent. Apparently they were out of stock on the advertised item and planned to send me a tower with a cross windows and 1 fan. Needless to say I cancelled the order. Placed another order jan 15th for a power supply, 3 days still no response. Stay away from this company!!!! Xoxide.com theres a good company!
