I ordered from this store on Ebay because they are a Sony authorized store. The listing sounded great and I waited a little while to think it over. I later purchased the item. The next day when I called to check on the order they said they had to cancel my order due to a mistake on their listing. I asked to speak to a manager and the salesperson said they wouldn't help me. Now it's 3 days later and the money I saved for this camera is still tied up in Paypal/my bank and I can't re-order anything because of that. Now I'm without my camera that I sold for the money to buy the new camera and no camera on order coming anytime soon. I think they could have easily worked with me even if it wasn't the same exact order but they refused to let me talk to a manager. I guess it's a lesson learned, don't buy from Focus Camera!

I was disappointed with their lack of updated status with the item I ordered. When I ordered the projector the nite before it stated the item was in stock and ready for shipping as it still was when I called mid afternoon the next to check on the order (I never received any confirmation email from them so I was concerned). The salesperson stated the item was on backorder even though I was never notified and their webpage still stated it was available for next day shipping. I will say they were prompt about canceling the order and my paypal refund was processed quickly.

I made an order from this company on 2/5/08 for some valentine's day presents for my Baby. The order was partially shipped to me shortly thereafter. My orginal order had a customized valentine throw and a personalized bear couple that was the half of the order that I never received and I was never notified that it wasn't coming. I was told when I made the order that I could pay extra to assure delivery before Valentine's day but didn't feel the necessity to do so. Obviously they canceled that part of the order, when I didn't pay the extra expedited shipping charges and they never notified me that it was canceled. I told my Baby that her personalized blanket was coming and she was very excited only to disappoint her today after calling there and finding out it was canceled without my notification.

Items were as described and promptly delivered (considering the time of the year). The price was great and them items were exactly as described.

I have ordered from this company on two separate occasions and the first order somehow got lost in delivery but Dealextreme was very attentive to concerns and they followed up and after a month they kindly refunded my order. I just recently made another order and the shipment went out quickly and I received the order with no problems this time. As you should expect, with normal delivery from half way across the world, shipping takes a couple of weeks usually. And some of the product are of cheaper quality, but for the price you still can't beat them. My order that was lost was partially my fault because of the order size (around $600), I should have paid the extra for EMS delivery, and they really wanted me to upgrade shipping (now I see it was not for profit but more for security of the order). I would gladly order from them again.

Update: I have since requested quotes on more orders and they have not responded and it has been over one month since the first request. Due to their lack of follow up, I'm more concerned about their reliability and I have stopped referring them to my friends which I was doing pretty regularly.

update: 8.23.08 received recent order ( 2.5mm Male to 3.5mm Female Convertor x2) exactly as stated on website, ordered on 8.11.08 rec'd today. A satisfied customer!

10.1.09 I have stopped ordering from this company due to 6-8 week waits for orders and lack of return emails about orders. The last order I made with them required me to complain to Paypal to get them to reply back to me. Their service has gone downhill and I would advise against ordering from them.

I have ordered from these guys a few times and although the shipping is slow and the items are cheaply made, that is what you expect when you get items from Hong Kong and the prices are cheap. I generally have been very happy with there service. I have received some defective items, but they generally replace them for free. I am generally very happy with them and I will continue to use them as long as they keep up with good prices, good customer service and good products.

Poor handling of customer and deceptive pricing. My order was made on 6/24/06 and the order was cancelled on 7/27/06 even though they had the same exact item listed under another sku (for the whole time)and refused to acknowledge they had some in stock.

Great prices and prompt shipping. Great Seller! Although their selection of itmes is slim, they have great prices and free shipping.
