Tried using Little Soft Shop for the purchase of an OEM version of Windows Professional 64-bit. I've purchased OEM software in the past with very little issue because I am generally aware of the fraud that often permeates the reselling of such software. Little Soft Shop stated on the product that what they were selling is a "full version of the software which will include the installation disc(s), Certificate of Authenticity, and product keycode/serial number (if necessary)."
What I received was a Dell Windows recovery disk with no CoA or serial number. When I complained they tried to differentiate between "branded" and OEM even though their own site calls the disk "Full - OEM".
I am awaiting another reply now to my ulitmatum that they will pay for the return shipping, but, regardless, I can guarantee that they intended to use this ploy as a way to fool people. Strongly suggest to avoid because of such tactics.
“We are sorry that you weren't satisfied with your recent transaction with Little Soft Shop. We strive hard to maintain our excellent reputation as a trusted online software store. We have been in business for over 5 years now due to the quality of our customer service and the fact that we never sell pirated, cracked, or any other type of fraudulent software. Every piece of software in our store is authentic and guaranteed to activate. If any of our customers have a problem with their software purchase they can return it and get a refund per our policies section of the website. All of our OEM software is either branded or just OEM. Branded, simply means it has the Dell or HP logos on the disc. The specific software you bought is sold at drastically reduced prices to our customers simply because it doesn't have the Microsoft logo on it since it is branded to be used by Dell or HP. Nonetheless, it will install Windows on any fresh install or reformatted hard drive. OEM software from our site can't be used as an upgrade however. Thank you for your feedback on Little Soft Shop.”
