It wasn't until after we ordered 3000 sq ft of Tobacco Road Acacia solid hardwood that we began reading all the horror stories about LL. However, I will now say that none of them came true for us -- The manager at Store #1051 (Santa Ana, CA) was very helpful, accommodating and willing to negotiate. All three pallets were delivered within two weeks and the wood is beautiful (it might be nice if there were more longer pieces per box, but not a big deal). I will say, however, that the installer that LL recommended gave an extraordinarily high estimate and we went with a very reputable and more reasonable private contractor. Fortunately, we didn't have any of the problems others seem to experience -- maybe we got lucky or maybe the company is coming around.
