After Goggles4U.com read my posting and a few days of negotiations back and forth, I have to admit that they took responsibility for my experience and stepped up to the plate. Their Primary intensions were to fix my concerns and I have now reconsidered my opinion.

It appears they are trying to improve service. But, sometimes when working on a shoe string budget, things just get out of their control.

*My first time Opinion has changed concerning Goggles4U.
I purchased my first pair of glasses in May 2011. I received my glasses as expected and I was happy with them. Especially considering the outstanding price.

But, you really need to read below.

I purchased a second pair on 12/2/11. After a week no update on website which was strange from my previous buy. I asked via Chat for an update and was told check the website in 48 hours for the update.

Three days later no update, status was still “In progress” without a tracking number. I opened another chat session. This time I was told check back in 72 hours for an update.

Five days later no update, status was still “In progress”, no tracking number. I chatted again and this time I was told they were in Final Inspection and would ship in a day or two.

Another week later no update, the status was still “In progress”, no tracking number. This time I emailed. Their response; there was a flaw in manufacturing and they had to be remade. They would go out no later then the end of the week. They did offer to refund the $4.99 shipping cost for my troubles.

By the following Wednesday (9 days later) there were still no updates on the website. I had given up by this time and contacted contacted my Credit Card company to dispute payment because of mis-information and no product received. The Credit Card company gave Goggles4U 10 days to respond before they would refund my money.

Goggles4U shipped my glasses on the 7th day. I received them one day before their response was due. I did drop my Credit Card complaint, after all I did receive my product. But, I really don't understand why it had to come to this. Oh, and by-the-way. They never refunded the $4.99 shipping charge as promised in their email.

Sometimes things work well. Sometimes Not. I doubt if I will return or recommend Goggles4U to anyone who asks.

I order a set of earphones, because the earphones that come with the iPod do not stay in my ear. This product works for me, arrived ahead of the expected delivery date, and was an excellent buy.

Early Monday morning, May 21st 2007, I ordered a GPS from Abe’s and paid the extra fees to expedite shipping. The next morning, Tuesday, they had taken the monies from my account. It was not until the following Friday night, May 25th, that I received shipping verification. ?? A week to process an order.?..?
