1/5

PLEASE READ! I have NEVER gone online to rate a product or store. NOT ONCE. I recognize that ResellerRatings has a policy about a company writing its own reviews, but after dealing with this company, it is inconceivable how anyone could have a positive thing to say.
I Bought a plasma from them on the guarantee that they were an authorized dealer (lie #1). Contacted the manufacturer only to find out that they were not, and that a warrantee "WOULD NOT" be honored. In attempting to cancel the order so that I could have some time to do some more research, I was told that the TV was shipped already (lie #2), and that there would be a $400 shipping fee. They assured me once again that Pioneer would honor the warrantee and called the Pioneer associate an "idiot" for telling me otherwise. But as an assurance, a "customer service" associate told me that a letter and invoice would be faxed in 2 days guaranteeing that if Pioneer didn't honor the warrantee that a 3-year warrantee would be provided by 123 (lie #3). Never got the fax of course. After HOURS of being on hold (one day from 4-5pm only to have the phone hang up when it became 5), I finally got a hold of a manager who agreed to cancel the order and refund me in "12 days" (lie #4). It's been 3 weeks. By the way, every phone call was ended with an abrupt message from a representative. One sales rep even stated, "I'm not going to waste my time with you any longer. I have more important things to do like selling to buying customers!"
It's near midnight. There's a thousand other things I could be doing. But if this review spares at least one victim I'll certainly rest better at night (while you're at it, go ahead and read about "pricemad" on this site). What a disaster. Again, I will NEVER believe that any of these positive reviews are legit. I'm not finished either; BBB, Attorney Gen, FTC, etc. all need to hear about criminals like these.
