Got an email immediately saying the product was reserved and pending shipment. 3 business days later, not shipped, no update, no response to two emails, no way to cancel the order. HOWEVER, when the owner got back to me, I discovered what this site is really about -- a very small business that appears to be run by a small staff (maybe even just one person) and sells one of a kind or limited availability stuff.

Long story short, when he got back to me, I asked that he cancel my order (I had already bought the part locally). He refunded my money and sent me the part anyway for free.

So... this isn't New Egg. But he's a reputable dealer.

I'm changing my original one star rating to 4 based on his repair of the situation.

My wife bought me a nifty new processor for my birthday (AMD dual 4200+). I had made a list of things I would like and promised not to look at my email until the party.

Well, the processor came just fine, but when I finally looked at my email, I saw that the price was $15.00 *higher* than I had thought it would be *and* the current price was the lower price that I expected. Very odd.

So, I called newegg out of curiosity. Sure enough, there was a 2-day price bump and the order was made during that time. I wasn't expecting anything; was just curios. Well, Reanna at newegg was super nice and actually credited the $15.00 back to our card because the price had gone back down before we had even received it.

Now THAT'S service! Newegg rocks!

I bought a landscape rake for my tractor. This is a very heavy item that had to be delivered by freight truck. It arrived quickly at a price that was far better than anyone I could find locally or on the web. I would definitely do business with them again. A+

I ordered a DVD burner from them. No attempt at an upsell; great communication (an email about what I'd ordered, another when it was shipped with a tracking number); very reasonable shipping rates; GREAT price!!

My order arrived so fast, I couldn't believe it was from them. I will DEFINITELY order from them again.
