Boy was I afraid of ordering from this company after reading only horrible reviews about them. But I admit it. I'd do ANYTHING to save money. Take any risk. Suffer any humiliation. So I ordered...
and they were great. Not that I didn't give them a hard time anyway.
Their site was one of the best on the internet to configure your own system. The selection was large and the configurator easy to use. I chose an asus p4b533 mobo, pentium 4 2.56g processor, two 40 gig hard drives and a floppy drive in a case. I got an email from them in 2/3 days saying that I'd chosen incompatible memory, and that they replaced it with the right kind for the same price. OK... that seemed reasonable. Then the next day they called and said that I ordered a crappy case and power supply, and I should upgrade. That was it! I had a fit on the phone... I said that I had read about their rip-off tactics and don't think they were going to pull that on me. For 15 minutes I put them through the wringer...on their dime! Finally, I agreed to upgrade the power supply to the tune of $45, (I had ordered the cheapest generic model). In the end they never even charged me for it. 5 business days later I had my computer - Packed meticulously, and it included all the documentation. They even broke down the original component boxes and included them with my order. Also, they set up my raid configuration, installed xp and tested the system. All I had to do was install my own cdrw drive and I was on my way.
I promised Greg I think his name was, that I would write a glowing report if I was happy, OR rip them to shreds if I was not. So here I am... keeping my promise. I couldn't be any more satisfied.
Whew!!!
