My refurbished HP laptop arrived promptly with no issues. I'm pleased with that purchase. I had a previous order with eCost that was initially accepted when I placed it, but later cancelled due to out of stock product, which was disappointing.

I placed another order with eCost to get the items I needed in teh first order. That second time I received the products, but they were left on my front porch with no signature required, as was my recent laptop order. I think the products could have easily been stolen by a passersby, so be cautious and make sure you get home without delay on the day it's supposed to arrive.

Lastly, I paid for the Platinum Club membership, but so far it's been of marginal value. I think it's tricky to get the limited really low priced deals they offer, and perhaps the only way the membership will turn out to be a good value is the shipping discounts on some future orders. I've also been having some trouble logging into the website to even see the Platinum Club deals.

Overall, I think especially if you're comfortable with refurbished products and don't necessarily have to get the latest cutting edge technology, you can get some pretty good values from eCost.
