Did a bit of comparison shopping and found that this e-tailer had a low price and free shipping. I ordered online and after a few days it showed that it was processing. I called and e-mailed and they said it was still processing. I e-mailed again a week later and received a response from Steve at the Sales Dept. saying that "FurnitureXO operates on extremely small profit margins because we provide outstanding prices, exceptional service and FREE shipping on all orders".

That's fine and dandy. However, they also said "FurnitureXO will pay direct shipping cost but sadly we will need your assistance with the additional shipping fee (third party shipping).

Unfortunately we have no other choice L If you would like to proceed, an additional $50.00 will added to your order."

Now let's get this straight here. I live in San Francisco. I don't live off a farm road in rural Idaho. Right? We have running water and asphalt roads next to an interstate highway.

You offer FREE SHIPPING to all 48 States in the U.S., but somehow San Francisco doesn't qualify?

This epitomizes poor customer service. This is not how to treat a customer with poor communication and no mitigation for their own logistical problems.

Don't advertise in a bold banner "FREE SHIPPING" when you obviously don't.

End of rant.

Regarding the response by FurnitureXO about my comments being slanderous. Let's break it down.

1) You are a FURNITURE STORE. Hence your name FURNITUREXO and the copious amounts of FURNITURE on your website.
2) You advertise FREE SHIPPING on all FURNITURE

Deceptive advertising at a very minimum.

Anyways, I got the same order from another retailer for virtually the same cost and they didn't ask for additional shipping and it came from North Carolina via freight to San Francisco, which my map skills says is a little further than Pennsylvania.

I wanted a piece of furniture and saw they didn't have the option available. Live Chat worked and miraculously the item appeared as an option (must've been talking to the webmaster/cs person). Ordered it.

Now, they chose to use D&D Delivery Service which is a bottom-feeding service.

They held my order (D&D) for two months before putting it on a truck and sending out. Be it weather problems or logistic problem. Basically, I called D&D and they said they were holding it until after the winter break.

The reason I won't order from Mazel Tov again is because of who they contract with for shipping.

Bought a daybed from them. It came withing two weeks via FEDEX. The most trouble free furniture purchase ever (online) and I wouldn't even consider them a full fledged furniture store.

No hassles. No fuss. Thanks!

Wanted the Little Giant 17' 1A Ladder. Proladder had it for $379.99 (reg $540.00). I wanted it quick (no tax, free ship) and they said: "Q #8: How competitive are your prices?
A: Our prices are VERY competitive. In fact, we guarantee to have the lowest prices around. (Guaranteed lowest price may not include free freight) If by chance you find a lower price elsewhere, just let us know and we will BEAT that price.....guaranteed! We will NOT be undersold. Contact us for quantity discounts. And remember, your ladder order includes a free Interactive DVD, no sales tax on orders outside of Idaho, and free freight in the continental United States. What a deal!"

I asked them to price match or get close to what I could get regular price at Costco $199.99, and they refused. (Note: That even if you purchased online membership for $50, it would still be quite a lot less than proladder)

Do not post a fantastic guarantee if you will not honor it. It is deceptive, dishonest and unethical.

I canceled my order and wound up not even buying it elsewhere. (Got a Werner 22 instead).

Touted a specific SSD for my computer, bought it and then found reviews where they found it was not compatible. To the level of detail they described, this is unacceptable. I wasted a lot of time and risk trying to install this to find out the ribbon wire was the incorrect size.

When they first opened they rivaled Amazon etc. Now, they are just OK and better deals can be found elsewhere. Shipping is slow and painful and therefore I cannot recommend them.

Writing this review is almost the same as writing one for Musician's Friend, Guitar Center etc since they are the same company and ship out of the same warehouses. Prices do differ and from that you can get a better deal.

Mixed Feelings. Had a few orders from them during their clearance sales. 2 of 3 orders were fine and a good deal. The other one came a defective heavy jacket that had bleach spots and had a rip from some garment machine.

Since it was heavy, they made me pay shipping to return it, which cost almost as much as the jacket and then they said that they would only give a refund minus the shipping (to send it to me).

So I paid for the jacket and shipping twice and only got a partial refund and no jacket.

It also took many calls to even get the refund minus shipping (x2) back to my card.
