Have ordered from here several times without problem. I've spoken to Customer Service a couple times, always to my satisfaction. Reps seems knowledgeable and eager to help. Items ship as they are available (rather than holding all items on a backordered item). Have deleted items from orders prior to shipment and made substitutions on unshipped orders without incident or difficulty. Overall a great experience, and I would recommend to anyone.

My only complaint on a recent order: one item came packed on its own in a larger box, with only a single air pack to pad it in the much larger box. It would have been humorous, had it not been a delicate instrument. Instrument was not damaged.

Order placed 4/18, shipped 4/20, and arrived on 4/29. All items were individually bagged, placed in a larger bag, and bubble wrapped. Everything appears in good condition. Only problem was a single item (worth $0.04) was missing. Not a big deal, and I will definitely order again.

Edit: second order placed 5/2, shipped 5/3, and arrived 5/13. All items accounted for, and packaged just like last time (individually wrapped, placed in larger bag, bubble wrapped). No complaints with Futurlec so far!

Placed my order for a single drive on 4/30/2009 to replace a failing drive in an array. I received an order confirmation minutes later, but the order status has not changed since then. All attempts to contact the company have failed: 1) No one ever answers the phone; voicemail is not returned, 2) The order comment system on their website does not appear to work, 3) "Live" chat is never online.

I am contemplating canceling my order, but given the responsiveness of micropartsusa so far, I don't even think I would be able to.

Also, it's interesting to note how similar all the "positive" reviews for this company are. I wonder how many of them are genuine reviews?

5/12/09 Edit:
Received the drive today. Appears to be in the advertised condition (new), and included the drive caddy. While I am glad to have my hardware and the price was excellent, my complaints regarding lack of communication and slow service stand.
