I was looking to customize just a bit more than it looked like I could and I very much wanted to have the OS software in my hand for the 2K I was looking at for a new system. I was beginning to think I was going to have to figure out how to build from scratch when I found PowerNotebooks.

I wanted a particular kind of hard drive (solid state) for the OS and then additional storage and I wanted a particular video card at a minimum. I wanted enough 3.0 USB ports and I wanted Windows 7 Pro and I wanted an extended warranty period.

I got it all with PowerNotebooks. No bullshit. Donald knows what he is talking about and although I haven't yet had any issues other than a bit of funniness with the CD-Rom drive not wanting to recognize the disk, I do believe they have the integrity and will stand behind their promises to me.

I'm almost a month in now. I had to wait less than two weeks for the machine if I recall correctly.

I'm writing the review for you and for PowerNotebooks and ultimately for myself because this is the way we support each other and if I ask myself what I'd want, the answer is this review! Trust me...or don't! I think it was the best 2.2K I could have spent on a laptop and I'll update the review if it goes sour. Wishing you the best!
