On several occasions, I have found this company to be inflexible and difficult to deal with. They insist upon charging sales tax even though I am a reseller with a tax certificate.

Recently, when I tried to correct this problem they were extremely rude and even hung up the phone on me. They are in an obscure area of Alabama so I guess they don't feel they need to be courteous to the customer.

Avoid at all cost - they will disappoint you and treat you rudely.

Avoid this vendor at all costs. They used to be good and now they are CROOKS!

Ordered Samsung monitor 3/1/03 status was "in stock".

After one week no shipment cancelled order and received email confirmation indicating they would credit card within 5 - 7 business days.

It's now almost two months later and NO CREDIT.

They give lame excuses about no more than $15,000 credit per day and will credit me "real soon" but nothing happens.

I strongly suspect foul play and embezzlement of these funds. I've protested the charge to my charge card company and will probably be able to have it cancelled but what a pain in the *&*.

AVOID THESE CROOKS!

This is the second time that I have purchased from Monarch Computers. On the first occasion I purchased in Asus dual processor motherboard and was well satisfied with it and their services.

On this most recent occasion, I had ordered to Western Digital 100 GB hard drives with 8 MB cache from another vendor, only to find after several days that they did not have the drives when I ordered them and had no expectation of when they would be received due to the West Coast strike.

I found that Monarch Computers had a reasonable price on these hard to find drives although they did not have them in stock. I spoke to a sales representative who said they would have them within a day or so and reluctantly, with a certain amount of skepticism, placed an order.

I am happy to say that the drives are scheduled for delivery via FedEx today -- the company was as good as its word. I would heartily recommend them to other buyers.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

I ordered my Pioneer 104 DVD drive from them over one month ago - received a drive that was DOA - sent it back and it has been in their hands for over one week as of July 9, 2002. I had been assured verbally that my replacement went out immediately. I am appalled to find that it still has not shipped to me. This company is disorganized and their primary support person, Walter, (referenced in another highly negative commentary on this website), has not made one single thing come true that he has promised. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE - BAD COMPANY - IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG YOU WILL REGRET THE DAY YOU PURCHASED ANYTHING FROM CALIFORNIA DRIVES!
