After calling customer service I was informed that the item was a pre-order item and that the company was awaiting shipment from the manufacturer. While I appreciate the attentive customer service, I wish that it had been made clear on the web site that the item was not in stock and that the delivery schedule was uncertain. I am able to track my order now - it is being listed as "processing . . . awaiting shipment" had has been so now for several days. I am a little upset that a $300 item is "lost in the system" so to speak. It is very telling that after a month of assiduous research, this company\u0027s web site is the only one I have found that actually discusses hard numbers rather than resorting to puffery to illustrate its concern for selling and standing behind a quality product. I can say the same about its shipping policies which state clearly that it does not recommend \u0022going cheap\u0022 when selecting a shipping option for a $4000 plus piece of hardware. They also immediately addressed my emails with thoughtful and actually helpful responses and even talked me out of selecting more expensive OC options which they deem a source for customer dissatisfaction. In fact, this is the only company I have come across that puts customer satisfaction in front of claiming the best specs or best prices. “Unfortunately, the ETA for this item is several months away. As a consequence it has been removed temporarily from our site. Understandably our customer cancelled the order when informed of this. We are looking into the messaging our site presented at the time of this sale as clearly we did not manage this customer's expectations well. We hope he will give us another chance so we can show that this was an aberration.
