My wife wanted a purse for her birthday and chose a few for me to choose from. I purchased the purse, and then she decided she wanted a different one from a local store. We requested a return, shipped the purse to them, and their website says the return was credited.
After about 2 weeks I did not receive the credit. I called them and they claimed they sent me a gift card instead. I didn't request a gift card and don't know why they wouldn't just credit my credit card. Further, I didn't even receive a gift card. Now my case has been "escalated" to a "specialist". I will wait for an e-mail back and dispute the purchase with my credit card company if they don't give a refund.
A big hassle for something that was easy to resolve.
