After looking around for my new laptop, I decided to order from XoticPC based on a number of reviews and recommendations I see online.
As I was ordering in a hurry for my travel, I had to put in a rush order payment based on recommendation from X-PC sale person, it wasn't exactly cheap but at least I got my laptop pretty fast so I got no complain there.
The package was missng a BF3 redeem code and after talking with online support staff and sending a few emails that was sorted out pretty quickly.
After my travel, I noticed that there was a problem with the power button not working right and the LED light was always off. I looked around online and took a wild guess that there must be some problem with the power button cable. So I opened up the laptop front power strip cover after some playing around and found the power button cable connector is indeed lose, and after re-connecting it the issues seem to have been resolved. My guess is the connector probably already got loose when they installed a new wireless card in that same area which required disconnecting and re-connecting the power button cable blocking the way and my travel probably loosened it even further.
So far, the laptop is working fine and I found no other issue with it yet. Overall, even though it is not a completely hassall free experience, I am still satisified with my purchase and would still recommend it to anyone simply based on price point and staff support quality and attitude. It would be nice if the company can continue to improve on paying attention to small details and order processing speed (without rush order the entire order and processing speed just seems too long).
