With my 5 year old computer just not capable of running new programs and games, I began to look into the possibility of putting together a new machine. I surfed other reseller sites, but was drawn back to NCIX, because they seemed to have the best prices, including some great deals. Navigating the NCIX web site was easy and well organized, and I quickly put together all the parts necessary to build a great computer.

My selections included:

1.Antec Eleven Hundread Performance Gaming Case
2.LG 12x Blu Ray Rewriter
3.Intel Core i7 2700k Quad Core CPU
4.WD Velociraptor HD 300GB
5.Two Coolermaster 120mm Case Fans
6.Corsair Pro-series Gold 1200w P/S
7.Microsoft Windows 7 Pro SP1
8.Two Gigabyte Radeon HD 6850OC Video Cards
9.Two sets of Corsair Vengeance 8GB 2x4GB DDR3-2133 RAM
10.Gigabyte Z68-UD3H-B3 Motherboard
11.Corsair A50 CPU Cooler

I placed My order on Feb 28, 2012 at 2:30pm. Immediately recieved a confirmation e-mail on my order. One hour later I recieved another e-mail confirming payment and order processing. The next morning, recieved an e-mail that my order had shipped, which contaned tracking numbers. Two days later I recieved 9 out of 11 items in my order. The contents were well packaged and secure, in a large box 2 to 3 times the volume of the combined items in the box. No damage to any items occured. Recieved the 2 remaining items the following Monday over the weekend, in secure packaging. Put everything togther, and no issues present so far. I am impressed with the organization of the web site and swift execution when it comes to placing an order. I always knew where my items where in the shipping chain, which provided peace of mind. I have purchased from NCIX before in the past, and will continue to do so in the future. Great job NCIX.

Was looking for a cheap Video Card, and settled on the BFG GeForce 6600 GT OC.

Genitechcomputers.com had the lowest price I came across at $174.99 plus a $40 mail-in rebate from BFG. It was a no-brainer to buy this card because it fitted my needs exactlly.

I ordered it on October 8. I revieved an an automated e-mail confirming my order. Recieved an e-mail on October 12 from FedEX with a tracking number. When I ordered this card, I picked Canada Expresspost as the shipper, but I guess Genitechcomputer.com changed it at no cost to me.

Finally recieved my package on October 13 at around 6:20 pm. I was not impressed with how my card was packaged, as it was shipped to me in just one of those white plastic bags. No attempt to protect the product was taken. I opened the bag and sure enough the fragile box protecting the video card was damaged. I opened the video card box, and to my horror, found the metal back plate on the video card was bent about 50 degrees from straight.

I was able to straightin it back to where it is supposed to be, then installed the card.

Luckily the card words fine, and there does not appear to be any further damage done to the card.

This is totally unexceptable and irresponsible of Genitechcomputers.com. My video card should have been packaged properly inside a cardboard box double or triple the size the Video card box, and wraped in bubblewrap and/or crumpled newspaper to prevent this very thing from happening.

If they had taken the time to properly package things, this review would be very different.

Pros
-Cheapest price
-confirmation e-mails
-E-mail with traking number

Cons
-VERY poor packaging of products

*** UPDATE: October 17, 2005 ***

I recieved an e-mail from Genitechcomputers.com concerning this review and my purchase from them.

They were upfront in accepting responsibility for the way my package was shipped to me and apologized for the damage that occured to the
Video card. They expressed there intent to
rectify their shipping protocols to prevent this
occurrence from ever happening again, as they
have expressed their desire to satisfy their customers.

Furthermore, Genitechcomputers.com has offered me a refund, which I have accepted as well as accepting their apology from this incident.

It is unique to see that this company has chosen
to do the right thing by taking responsibility, and respecting their customers. It is truly a trait that will set them apart from all the rest, and will insure there reputation as a respectable computer reseller.

On September 14, I placed an order at PCC valued at over $1000 dollars. Components consisted of:

1. Western Digital SATA Secure connect cable

2. Western Digital 74GB SATA Raptor HD

3. Intel Pentium 4 660 CPU

4. Antec Truepower 2 550W Power Supply

5. Panasonic 1.44MB Floppy drive

After completing the ordering process, I instantly recieved an e-mail confirming my order. The e-mail only had an order number and did not list the items I had just purchased. On September 20, I recieved another e-mail stating that my order had shipped and thanked me for my business. The e-mail also contained a tracking number and was being shipped by UPS. On September 21, around 6:00 pm, I recieved my package. All items were packed together in one cardboard box. The packing material consisted of crumpled up newspaper and broken pieces of styrofoam. The components were very secure as the packing material did a good job of preventing anything from moving around. The box contaning the Intel CPU sustained minor damage, but this was purly cosmetic as the contents inside had no damage.

Overall, I am very satisfed with my experience with Premier Computer Canada. There prices were the cheapest in my particular situation, and considering that two of the components were "Special Order", I find the length of time between ordering and recieving my parts reasonable. My only gripe is that the order confirmation e-mail should have included an invoice of the parts I ordered as well as the cost of the items purely for personal records. You do have an opportunity to print off a printer friendly copy of you order after you finish placing the order for your records, so it isn't a major concern...but it would be nice if it was E-mailed too.

I would recommend this E-tailer to all interested in purchasing Computer components.

Ordered Corsair TWIN2X1024A-4300C3Pro DDR2 ram kit from MOCC.ca on Sept 6. Recieved an order confirmation e-mail immediately just to confirm what I ordered. On Sept 7, revieved an automated e-mail stating that my order was now being processed. On sept 9, revieved an automated e-mail stating that my order was to ship that day. NO information was provided on who was being used to ship the products to me and NO tracking number was issued. On sept 14, at approx 1:00 pm, finally recieved my shipment. It was shipped by Purolator. The ram was inside a sealed cardboard box with a sealed gray plastic bag on the outside. The ram was not wraped in anyway as you could easily hear it move inside the box. Thankfully there does not appear to be any damage.
Overall, I am disapionted with how slow my order was proccesed and shiped to me, not to mention the aggravation with not knowing who is being used to ship it to me and no tracking number to get an ETA on the shipment. Fortunately for MOCC.ca, they were the only ones left that I could find in Canada that carried this particular type of RAM, so I didn't really have to much choice but to use them. I took into consideration there seemingly glowing reputation on this web site when I placed my order; clam in knowing that so many others have had good experiences with this Online dealer. I suppose it is a lesson learned: Buyer beware!

I purchased Arctic Silver CPU compound and the Arctic Clean cleaning supplies From Memory Express on Sept 6. Recieved an order confirmation e-mail immediately saying that someone would contact me about my order within 24-48 hours. Got a phone call Sept 9 saying that my order would ship that day. The person was polite and nice. Later recieved a tracking number from Canada Post that day. Recieved my stuff Sept 12 around 3:30 pm. The package was shipped by Canada Expresspost. The packaging was adequate as the products were rapped with several layers of paper to prevent products from moving around inside of box. Overall, the experience was satifactory, but I have recieved products from other Online sites much quicker. But really nothing to complain about seeing that Memory Express was the ONLY Computer site selling the Arctic Clean supplies...Plus they were the cheapest.

Purchased a LG 16x DVD Burner from AtopOnline
as a first time buyer.

Ordered on a Friday around 5pm, recieved burner on
Monday 11am. The Burner was packaged very well,
with large bubble wrap inside to protect it during shipping. Was ship by UPS.

Pleased with the service, burner works great. Will purchase from them again.
