I needed a direct replacement for the unit I had since it was a ducted unit. I checked other places and was told I needed a number of extra parts in order to change to a newer model that would replace my existing unit. The gentleman that I dealt with at PPL made some calls to the manufacturer and was able to get direction which would allow us to use the existing controls, with some minor modifications, which would save me several hundred dollars. I was grateful for his diligence and help and it will definitely influence me the next time I need something for a trailer or motorhome (I have one of each).
