5/5

I am definitely satisfied with my experience dealing with Freeland Computer. I was looking for a certain video card for my (5 year old) laptop, and it was incredibly difficult to find. Most places didn't have it, and those who did had refurbished ones for outrageous prices. Freeland Computer appeared to have the part I needed, for a very fair price, but the actual part number was different from the one on the card I previously had in my laptop. I emailed them about the issue, and received a quick, detailed response that explained the difference between my old card and the replacement one I ended up ordering from their site. They were quick, informative, helpful, and the price was right. What more could you want?
Oh, but I did have one nagging issue. You must create an account to get things shipped. The actual account setup page does not appear to be entirely secure at the moment - I use Mozilla Firefox for a browser, and it has a little padlock icon that appears to let you know when you're on a secure page. There was no padlock icon when creating my account, so that gave me some trepidation at first. But the actual order page - where your credit card info gets involved - is, in fact secure, so don't worry about it.
EDIT: I just recently checked the site again, and the page I spoke of IS now secure. I take back everything I just said in the previous paragraph and am bumping them up to a 5-star rating. My bad.
But I certainly had a good experience with them as is, and would use them again in a heartbeat if I needed to find some more replacement laptop parts :)
