Do not shop at DiscountElectronics.com. I used a prepaid debit card to purchase a keyboard from them. 2 weeks later the card was fraudulently used in a transaction at a Matteson, IL Toys R Us to clean out the balance on the card.

This was the only purchase the card was ever used for, so Discount Electronics is the only entity besides myself to have the card number.

Do not shop there; they are either stealing cards or have been hacked.

I ordered a product on a Saturday evening and it shipped out Monday as expected via ZZF's typical free 2-day FedEx process. The box did arrive slightly dinged due to apparent poor handling by FedEx, but the product was packed well enough that this was not an issue. I otherwise give the company high marks for being easy to deal with and shipping quickly, and would not hesitate buying from them again.

After ordering a game Monday afternoon, the company sent it out via 3-day UPS on Tuesday, or so they said. After it not arriving on Friday scheduled, a call to UPS on Monday resulted in finding out that UPS had never received the package, only the billing information for it.

A call to GameStop confirmed this; the CS rep was able to confirm that the package was never shipped, but did not know why. I was given the choice of a refund or a replacement unit, I picked the later and was bumped up to 2-day FedEx at no extra cost. The second unit shipped Tuesday and arrived as expected.

While I give them credit for bumping up the shipping on the product, the fact that they didn't actually ship it the first time around but still reported that they did is gross negligence on their part, and it shouldn't have taken a call to the company to get them to fix it, this is something they should have noticed on their own. I would not buy from them again.

Things started off a bit rocky, as their automated email system ended up sending out a false out-of-stock email for the product I ordered when they listed it as in-stock, but a quick email to a human got that cleared up. Otherwise, it took longer than I would have liked for the part to ship out(ordered on a Thursday, came in stock Friday, didn't ship until Wednesday), but it was otherwise satisfactory shipping and communication on a good deal.

Ordered an Athlon64 from Newegg Wednesday morning(10/20) with overnight shipping to make sure that I would get it by Friday for a system build, but it didn't ship out until Friday. Although it's within Newegg's policy that it can take 1-2 business days for an item to ship, and hence the Friday is perfectly valid, it's relatively slow for a company known for same-day shipping, and a bit frustrating that by the time it shipped, the CPU was $5 cheaper(i.e. I would have saved $5 to order on Friday morning, and it would have likely still gone out Friday). After asking a CSR what was taking so long as of Friday morning(before it had shipped), they replied Saturday stating that they have been "experiencing technical errors in their shipping system" which is good to know since it implies that this isn't routine. Still, it costs Newegg a bit in the score department, since 2 days to ship is only satisfactory - they've done better.
