I ordered a Bulldog T-harness (GM-1) so I could install a remote start on mom's car for Christmas. I never received any email confirmation from the company after I ordered. On December 18th I still hadn't received the product so I logged on for an update. My order had been cancelled without any word. I had to scramble for present for my mom. As of writing this, Rockbottomprices.com still has the product for advertised sale. No apologies.

I've ordered from Sportsman's Guide several times (10+) over the years and have never had a problem with them. In fact, I'm editing this review after another successful transaction with them. I don't understand all the low ratings they've received. I guess people will take the time to complain but not to praise. I save a ton with their Buyer's Club discount. Prices are cheaper than Cabela's even without all the discounts Sportsman's Guide offers. I get two $10 off coupon for every order and free shipping when I renew my Buyer's Club membership.

I've ordered from JCWhitney several times in the past and had no problems. But the last time was the last time. I was leaving for a trip across country the next week and I ordered a few things I needed for the trip. I paid $5 extra for expedited shipping. The order was placed the 24th, but was not shipped until the 28th. And it was shipped via regular ground shipping, not expedited shipping like I paid for. JCWhitney did not give me a refund for the shipping. This was enough to make me a customer of Summit Racing.

I am fairly certain that this business is run by someone in his basement. This is the most unprofessional entity I've dealt with outside of eBay and other similar resale venues. My order was placed 11/10/09, but the shipping label wasn't even printed until 11/14/09. The product, a replacement magazine for my Mossberg 4x4 rifle, was shipped via media mail. Yes, the shipping method intended for CDs, books and magazines that takes 1-3 weeks to arrive. I paid $5.95 for Priority Mail.

The package finally arrived on 11/20/09. The only contact I received from the company was after my order was placed. There was no email informing of when the item was shipped and the website has no way to log in and view my account or order status. Though this company had the absolute lowest price I could find, the shipping is horrible. An update or two on my order status would be nice too. I'm hoping it's just a new company that will improve after time

I've ordered from Amazon.com dozens of times. I generally have excellent results. I like the fact that they'll ship my order in groups to get it to me faster and don't charge me anything extra. I always order at least $25 worth of items so shipping is always free.

My only complaint is they grossly overcharge sellers that sell items in their Marketplace. For instance, I listed a used book for $2.19 and later found out Amazon charged me $2.67 in fees when I sold it. That's crazy! For inexpensive items it's as if I'm paying Amazon so I can sell it.

Bad shipping practices. Poor customer service. Extremely unprofessional. Couldn't believe they way this seller acted. Will never deal with again. No bargain is worth it. Should have looked up the business on Google. Rip Off Report for fraud on file.

I've been a customer of Cabela's for more than a dozen years with generally excellent results. I usually place at least one order per year, if not more. The one order I did have a problem with, they fixed at their expense. The prices are usually high if the item isn't from the Bargain Cave, but their selection is so big they often offer things I can't find anywhere else. My Cabela's points in combination with the latest coupon offered makes it worthwhile. I look forward to getting the Fall Master Catalog every year, and the customer reviews on the website are an excellent resource. I will be a lifelong customer.

Ordered a PowerTrip U.S. Army Flak Textile Jacket. Knee Draggers price was $100 below retail AND they gave me free shipping! Best price anywhere. They emailed my order confirmation and two order updates to keep me posted.

I've placed at least 12 orders with Cheaper Than Dirt since 2002 (though none since they got rid of their Buyer's Club discount). No problems that I can remember. Their prices are so low I've even used them as a drop shipping service and sold their items on eBay for a profit. Shipping is a little higher than most stores, though. Yet they've always shipped next day in my experience and provide a tracking number. But I will never buy ammo from them since they charge an arbitrary $3 fee for every ammunition order. Good overall experience.

I became a fan of Summit Racing after being screwed by J.C. Whitney. Their shipping price is great. Even better if you order multiple items as it's just one flat rate. They often have those hard to find items I'm looking for, though I wish they still carried as many items at they used to for my 2001 Toyota 4runner.

This review is for the Gaylord, MI location. Everyone is a gunsmith or a bow technician in their respective department. The women in archery really know their stuff. There's a high turnover rate for employees, so make sure you get someone who has worked there more than a few months to work on your equipment. I've seen some butchered equipment at the hands of people who THOUGHT they knew what they were doing.

Jay's has one of the best return policies I've ever encountered. I've seen them return items that are the store brand of another business. If they don't have something in stock, they will special order it for a customer for no additional charge. Their prices are on the high side for most items, but many employees are willing to offer a discount if you ask and you're not a jerk about it. Good deals can be had at their yearly sidewalk sale in August.

I ordered from American Promotions several months ago and the product they sent was not what I was expecting. Apparently they recently started offering the option of small orders to individuals rather than just selling large orders to businesses and they hadn't yet gotten all the bugs out of their online listings. They admitted the mistake went above and beyond to correct it. I've never dealt with any company that went to such an extent to make me a happy customer. And that's not an exaggeration. I can't help but rate them 5 out of 5.

I generally use Pyramyd Air (not to be confused with Pyramid Airsoft) for a drop shipping company. They ship within two business days and provide a Fedex tracking number. Their shipping prices are fair. My one complaint is they will sometimes list an item on their website as on backorder and will give an expected date the item will be in stock again. It has been my experience however that they simply keep extending the date over and over. This is unacceptable when a buyer is waiting for an item. Lesson learned. Don't expect items on backorder to be in stock anytime soon.

I have used Pyramyd Air a few times to purchase items for myself and had no problems. I've only had to deal with customer service over the phone one time and it was regarding my first order placed with them. It's been more than five years ago so I don't remember the particulars, but customer service called me to verify something and the woman on the phone actually asked my age. She said I sounded about 12. I found this offensive at the time and still today I think she acted unprofessionally. This was one experience with one customer service rep. I won't hold the entire company accountable for that little mistake. I will continue to buy there and utilize their wholesale program.

I've used VistaPrint more than a dozen times over the last 9 years for free business cards, address labels and other low-priced items. I've only had a problem once and I never gave them the chance to correct it, so I won't go into it. My one complaint is that prices will change if you try to add too many promotional items to your shopping cart (ie. $3.99 premium business cards magically become $5.99 premium business cards after adding free address labels).

I've been reading some of the poor reviews posted about them and most of the dissatisfaction comes from buyer error. For instance, freefortenbucks posted, "I signed up to get some 'free' post cards and was charged an upload fee and shipping." To get free cards you have to choose from their selection of free designs. Uploading your own image costs extra and this is clearly stated on the website. I don't know how anyone could not realize this. And who would think shipping is free also? Does UPS offer free shipping when a company offers a free item? Have some common sense. Freefortenbucks also complained about the membership club "scam." This is in reference to the pop up ad that occurs after an order is placed on vistaprint.com. It offers a $10 coupon for your next order if you sign up for the membership. VistaPrint is an affiliate for the company offering the membership. It is not VistaPrint trying to scam people with monthly membership to a discount club. If you don't want it, don't click on the ad, don't agree to sign up for the membership and don't take the $10 coupon.

Rjcbleong posted VistaPrint sent the wrong holiday cards and a refund was only going to be for the cards and not the shipping of the free item he/she received. I'd expect a full refund for their mistake, but this person also wants a refund for shipping of the free item which had no mistake?

Keep in mind when viewing Reseller Ratings that people are more willing to take the time to write a bad review when they are upset rather than a good review when they are pleased with a purchase. But some of these poor reviews are a joke. Try reading, have some common sense, and keep in mind that you're not getting $40 business cards for the price of S/H and you will be pleased with VistaPrint.

I saw a car on Autotrader listed by Joe Ross Used Cars in Kalamazoo, MI. I asked the seller if there were any problems with it. After sending the email I checked the VIN and found out it previously had a salvage title. I waited for the seller's reply and he never mentioned anything about the rebuilt title. I checked three more of his cars and all had a rebuilt titles, though nothing was mentioned in the listings or his website. His prices are good deals if he were selling good cars, but grossly overpriced with rebuilt titles. I nearly drove 200 miles to the car lot and it would have been a waste of time and money. This man is the reason used car dealers have a bad reputation.
