I am VERY unhappy with the quality of service that I received from TowerRecords.com. I had searched several places to get the books that I needed and decided upon Tower for 2 reasons: 1. They had one of the lowest prices (NOT the lowest though) and 2. They had the quantity that I needed "in stock"--well, at least that's what the screens said when I ordered them. Come to find out that they did NOT have the quantity that I needed "in stock" and I was shipped only 1 and would have to wait another 2-3 weeks for the others. This was most inconvenient as these books were for a class that I was teaching and the students needed the books ASAP. And again, I ordered from Tower specifically b/c they said that they had the quantity that I needed "in stock". Other retailers had lower prices but didn't have the quantity that I needed "in stock" so I passed. When I received notification that my other books would be coming, I called Tower to complain and they were totally disinterested. I spoke with a supervisor and asked if they could expedite the shipping on the rest of my order and they said "No." When I told them that I was upset that the website told me they had the books in stock and then I found out that they didn't they said that they were aware that their website would do that and there was nothing they could do about it. To me, that's "FALSE ADVERTISING". If you say something is "in stock", that means it's "in stock" not that you CAN get it but that it will take longer. They were not the least bit apologetic. Pathetic customer service. Buyer BEWARE!!!
