I wish this site had come up the first time I searched for reviews of CCC. I would never have placed my order. My story reads like most of the other reviews listed. I placed an order on Feb.9,and credit card was charged the same day. I received an update with a staus of "shipped" on Feb. 15 but never received a tracking number. Phone conversations and e-mail responses are very abstract. Long story short, received this message on Feb. 28 in response to one of my e-mails... "I am also checking with my direct manager regarding the product number assigned to your order. He will check if the unit is on backorder." BACKORDER??? Feb. 15 status listed it as "SHIPPED". I cancelled the order on Mar. 1 and received a message that I would get a refund in 4 to 10 days. I also filed a dispute with my cardholder the same day. Also just like the review posted by "Epiphanies" on 2/28/11, a short time after placing my order with CCC two fraudulent charges appeared on my card and I had to have it cancelled. Still patiently waiting for that refund, do yourself a favor, DO NOT ORDER FROM CALIFORNIA COMPUTER CENTER !!! I really needed the item so ordered it through Amazon and received it in 2 days. CCC's lower price is of no value if all you get are headaches and no merchandise.
