I placed an order on www.eddiebauer.com for five Classic Tee Shirts advertised at a reduced price if you purchased more than one. I then received an email confirmation from CustomerCare@csc.eddiebauer.com that the order had been received.
A day later I received a voice mail on my phone to call Eddie Bauer's customer service center. When I did so, I was told that my order had been cancelled and was accused of trying to defrauding them by hacking their website to buy shirts listed on the regular Eddie Bauer website prices that were listed on their outlet website for a different set of shirts. Yes, you read that correctly: not only did they refuse to honor the price they had listed, THEY ACCUSED ME OF FRAUD!!!
I informed them that I would never buy an Eddie Bauer item again.
