LOL, support with some of these big companies can so easily be a bad joke - and that's the case with my experience with a "simple" purchase at Lenovo.com

I purchased two mice on sale. One of them worked without issue, the other started getting a hot USB transmitter, then lagging, then quit working all together.

I call the RMA number, they don't speak very good english so communication is an issue from the get-go. I'm told I can't RMA without first going through tech support (despite telling them this mouse does not work on three systems, yet the other identical mouse works without issue on the same three systems). Yeah, bureaucracy - gotta do the checkmarks first because nobody understands a thing these days.

I call tech support, they tell me to call the RMA tele# I just called as there's no reason for further troubleshooting. I should have got a "Case#" or whatever, but I call the RMA # right back without one - mistake.

Well, I'm told they'll get back to me within 5 days by email regarding my need to return a simple mouse for replacement which will put me really close to the end of the 21-day return window. Also, my mouse was referred to as a wireless keyboard and I was also asked if my wireless mouse was a desktop or laptop computer throughout my calls to Lenovo.

I'm glad I discovered their customer support is worthless on a small item and not one of their laptops. I'm going to call again, but I'm sure I'm going to use up at least another hour of our time (which costs them an easy $30 even on cheaper overseas overhead) trying to get a simple return/exchange to go.

The tennis racquets were great. The price was fantastic, their quality was fantastic, they arrived in perfect condition. Thanks

Man, some of the crazy low prices they have sometimes. It generally takes 2-3 weeks for my order to arrive, and some of the items are of pretty shady quality, but most items have been of acceptable to great quality, and I've always paid next to nothing including shipping - my favorite price. It's been a great place to buy the occassional crazy-cheap item.

Shipping time from return to arrival is 7-10 calendar days. Granted I got two months for dirt cheap, so I'll meet them in the middle with my stars. But with that long of shipping time that means on my 2 at a time plan we can rent four games with a week of play time each per month, being without games for about the same amount of time as having games. That's not any better a price than picking them up at the local store, and at least at the local store there's a much better chance of getting a new title at the moment I want it rather than waiting. Paying their full price for this service is out of the question with such long turn around time and queue lengths for newer titles.

Again, my 3 stars is based on paying $12 for two months. Had I paid full price for just one month I would have given it one star. I'm not sure if my rating counts as bribery, lol.

So far more games worked for us than not, though some of these games work so poorly I feel like I tossed my cash out the window. But, to be fair I have not asked for my money back on any of the games I found to be technical headaches for their purchase price was minimal (having waited until they went on sale), and I am greatly satisfied with many of the titles I have purchased.

Titles that have worked great on our systems: Total Annihilation, TA Kingdoms, Fallout 1 / 2 / Tactics

Titles that fell short of functionality/reliability: Roller Coaster Tycoon Deluxe, Redneck Rampage collection

I have quite a few more on my GOG shelf and will eventually get around to try them all...

I've only ordered from them once recently, but it went as good as one could expect. Item shipped the day after the order, item was well priced (a true sale price), item was as expected.

EDIT 5: 8/18/2011, the issue is still not resolved. I have posted in the ResellerRatings Forum rather than continuing to update this review.

EDIT 4: LOLZ, this is insane. So Wilson calls me back, says he'll send me an email stating they will send a prepaid return shipping label and assurance for a refund, then I will cancel the dispute, then they will email me my return shipping label...and then I get an email stating they will replace my order with an exchange instead of a issuing refund.

EDIT 3: 7-20-11, ~ 1:20 PM Central. Wilson, the rep communicating by email, told me to call their number in reference to their RMA ticket. After a few hold periods Penny refused to assist me further unless I closed the dispute ticket with the credit card company. The credit card company told me I could close the dispute once the issue is resolved. I am not going to lie to the credit card company and claim the issue resolved when AirSoft Megastore is trying to bully me into closing the dispute claim without resolving the issue. Looks like this gets resolved through the credit card company, which will cost Airsoft Megastore far more than being ethical and resolving it with me, the customer.

EDIT 2: I'm told "All items are shipped directly from the manufacturer unopened and brand new, the only exception is products purchased from our bone yard" by their customer service now. But their website says over 160k items in their 26k sq ft warehouse. The con just keeps snowballing...

EDIT 1: It only gets worse. They're telling me I have to pay to return the item, despite sending me a used and defective item when I paid for a new item. This "out of the box" behavior by their customer service makes me wonder if they're own employees are padding these reviews from various IP's.

Wow, what a huge disappointment with a store. My first real airsoft purchase and I'm sitting here with a used rifle that fired less than 30 shots before quitting.

I ordered the CYMA M5-A4 RAS CM041B combo kit. It arrived last night, just in time for the weekend. Upon opening was only disappointment. I ordered a new gun, this one is one is obviously used - there's dust/dirt in those hard to clean notches, scratches and scuffs all over the gun, and once I removed the handboards to expose the RAS I see paint chipped off in many places. The bottom of the grip where the motor adjustment is shows this gun has gone through some serious use. There were even a couple of bb's in the clip which was also dented.

Well, I thought I could probably at least get some backyard plinking out of the thing today, but less than 30 shots into that attempt the gun will no longer fire. It's not clogged, and it sounds like it's trying, but alas it will not shoot.

My kids and I are incredibly disappointed. The value of the local shop just shot up significantly. I'd rather pay 15% more and actually get what I paid for, and have customer service just a drive away rather than who knows how long this will take to resolve. Granted, I couldn't say if this product was swapped out by someone at AirsoftMegastore or somewhere before they even obtained it, and things happen, but there's just no way this was anything more than a one star experience.

Also, the free "$40" pistol that came with my order was of lower quality than the $5 "junk" pistols we purchased online in bulk. I don't consider those "real" after playing with some full metal two weeks ago, but I mention this because if you do order from this store use the % off coupon instead of getting this free pistol.

What a rippoff - $15.99 a month, use it or not, on top of your actual postage costs. I signed up for it when I signed up to sell on Amazon.com (another ripoff as well). I don't know how I missed that monthly fee, but I just noticed a charge on my card this month and had to call and completely shutdown my account. No refunds for unused month(s) - Yeah.

WOW, picked up some great prices on some of their equipment and all of it arrived in good time and condition, which I count myself as lucky since some of their sale prices had massive backorders but I got in quick enough to not be one of those waiting for ages for their order to fill.

I've only ordered a couple of things when their price was the lowest. Shipping speed was fair to good - other than that everything was great.
