My wife and I have ordered MANY books through Alibris. We have NEVER had any issues. Everything was exactly as it should be.

Through alibris.com, I ordered from Holland Christian Books a 60 year old copy of "A Short Syntax of New Testament Greek". The book was shipped immediately, came quickly, and the condition was exactly as described.

Highly recommended.

You can now upload a picture of yourself so you can try on their glasses virtually. This feature seems to work very well and very simply.

Three bifocal glasses ordered 26 October 2010 arrived 14 days later in semi-rural Pennsylvania.

I have ordered glasses from Zenni many times in the past (beginning August 2008), and, as usual, they are flawless. I cannot see any reason to pay more for glasses.

I ordered three pairs, all using the same frame (810014) that costs $6.95 including single-vision lenses. I wanted all three pairs to be bifocals, so that added $17 dollars per pair.
1. One plain bifocal pair for computer use and reading ($23.95 = $6.95 + $17). These were +1.25 diopters for the computer distance and +1.00 more for reading.
2. One bifocal pair with antiglare coating (+$4.95) for normal distance and driving ($28.90 = $6.95 + $17 + $4.95). For these the upper part was my standard distance vision prescription and the lower part was +1.25 diopters so I can read clearly the speedometer, etc.
3. One bifocal pair with antiglare coating and 80% grey tint (+$4.95) for normal distance and daylight driving ($3.85 = $6.95 + $17 + $4.95 + $4.95).

These guys are first rate. Enjoy.

Great Deal - More Than I Hoped For

American Bible Sales specializes in selling bibles translated by the Lockman Foundation (NASB, Amplified, LBLA/NBLH (Spanish)) at discounted prices.

I ordered on-line three "damaged" Bibles plus three canvas covers.

In one of the Bibles, the "damage" consisted of about a dozen pages with corners that extended about 1/16th inch beyond the other pages.

In another Bible, one of the pages had a fold near the binding that caused the page to stick out of the top about 1/16th inch. (This page has been flattened and is now totally normal.)

We could find nothing wrong with the third Bible.

The ordering experience was simple and well-defined. Delivery was as expected using UPS ground.

It was an excellent deal I highly recommend.

These guys are apparently very big on ebay. You can check out their rating there. My experience dealing with their on-line store was that they did exactly as they said they would do. No surprizes (which is good).

Ordered by phone on Monday. Stuff arrived in PA on Friday. Which is what I wanted.
I recommend placing your order by phone (instead of the internet) so you can find out instantly if an item is out of stock and then decide if you want to pay the shipping charge for that one item when it comes in.
Other than the one thing that was out of stock, which I was told about, it was a fine transaction.
