I purchased on this set of orders over a thousand Dollars and in a few months alone several thousand dollars. one of my orders was 2 Computer cases one which was crushed as if you jumped up and down on it. called Newegg and quick response was told they would file a claim. would have a replacement in 5 to 7 Business days. thought nothing of it, few years back UPS crushed a previous case and I received a replacement in about 4 days. made this call on 7/6/2006 received an email on 7/7/2006 of the claim and it said "you should be receiving the replacement shortly." once again thought nothing of it. Monday went by, still showed at step 1 called just to check on a date. and was told then it would take 10 business days before it would even ship. thats not what I was told in the email. and the person that filed the claim said 5 to 7 days to Receive the case. everytime I get a different answer. I called again on Tuesday and this time was spoken to in a seriously RUDE Manner. this did not set well with me. also was supposedly given Rush 2nd day shipping and told that he would see if he could get them to ship it out today. as soon as the call was over im sure he told the next 10 callers the same thing and never once found out about my Claim that I paid for. or any care that my merchandise was damaged. his words to me were " I told you Sir I can't find out about getting your order shipped out while im still on the phone with you, is there anything else." you know I have a customer calling me everyday wanting his computer. I get part of my business from word of mouth, I could only imagine what words are coming out of it right now. its now 7/12/2006 now and still at step 1 not packed just order placed. it has now been 2 weeks since I ordered the first case. and was slow shipping to say the least then it was shipped on 6/29/2006 arrived in my city on 6/30/2006 in the morning mind you, even though it was 4 miles away it sat there until 7/5/2006 before delivering it in the middle of the afternoon. this is UPS. fedex would have delivered it on 6/30/2006 or even 7/3/2006. and it would have been intact. this is not newegg's fault however they chose to take a better deal to save some money with UPS. I never liked UPS, never will never have, they lost 8 orders in 6 months, delayed shipping, said they had come buy but didn't, you name it. the worst company to have your merchandise to ship with. one of the reasons I order from newegg is because they used to use fedex, but now use UPS for standard shipping. Have done Business with Newegg for many Years, Bought tens of thousands of Dollars in Parts. I Run a IT/Computer Business with customers of my own. paid more than from a standard Wholesale for several reasons being shipping and average price, plus certain parts my Wholesaler does not carry. this is the first major problem with Newegg, several times minor problems. those were corrected quickly. this time it is not only unexceptable the way my business has been conducted but I don't like to be told that they do not know when it will ship, or that it will be received in 5 to 7 days and then 10 business days before it ships and so on. I am seriously considering Taking my business elsewhere. you would think a company Like Newegg would appreciate the sum of Money I spend with them. but hey its my money, and I have terminated my business with prior online merchants who thought they had become better than the customers they serve, this is how I feel right now about newegg. and im sure newegg will respond to this because its in their nature to give auto responses without putting the personal touch on it. the reviews I read over the years and the responses from them you could tell they were copy and paste. and similar to every response. I will say there are very few Problems that do occur. thats why the ratings are so high. but when a problem does arise say 4 out of hundred will get just what happened to me. Good Luck!
