4AllMemory is a ripoff.
I found their site which looked great. I ordered the memory that they told me (over the phone) would be correct. It wasn't. They told me I have to pay to ship it back in order to get a replacement. So much for their "guarantee". In other words, why should I have to shell out more money because of their mistake? I won't use them again. This is outrageous.
UPDATE 2/25/2010
To be fair, 4allmemory promptly sent the correct memory modules and credited my account for the one that I had to send back. I'm not as upset as before, but I still think they should post their return policy on the same page and in plain view. How many people actually click on "Terms" and have time to read all the legal stuff? My guess is most, like me, have confidence in the big printed word, "GUARANTEED".

“I am sorry to hear there was a problem with your order. We do have a lifetime replacement warranty. Yes you would have to send the memory back to us first and then we will pay to send the replacement to you or you can do an advanced replacement where we send the replacement now and do a temporary charge and then once we get the original memory back we refund you. All of this is stated on the site and you agreed to this when you placed the order. Again sorry for any inconvenience and we hope to do business with you again in the future. ”
