A great buyer experience. I bought a Better World Book through AbeBooks, when looking for a text book for uni. Like many students I'm always needing to cut costs where I can, I found a used copy for $6.14 US, a saving of nearly $60 on the price of a new book. I'd been warned against several book sites, but hadn't heard of AbeBooks. I was pleased that they didn't try to palm the book off 'as new' with the description of it's condition listed as "Shows definite wear, and perhaps considerable marking on inside." I expected a shabby but usable book to arrive. I was pleasantly surprised 2 weeks later for my book to arrive to me in Australia in much better condition than I expected. Some pages are slightly dog-eared, the back cover has some dog-earing on the bottom corner, and there is some faintly penciled-in notes inside, that's it, other than that it's like new. I was also happy that it was shrink-wrapped for postage as that kept the pages from further damage and protected t from moisture. Better World Books kept me in touch by emailing me when my order was actually dispatched, so I had an idea of when to expect it. I was very pleased with the combination of Better World Books and AbeBooks and would happily recommend them to anyone.
