Order several different configurations of their Whittington Solid Brass Georgian Design switchplates. Whittington is apparently a private label for SignatureHardware. All the GFI switchplate packaging included 1/2 inch screws when 1/4 inch screws are necessary. This is an industry standard. Also the switchplate screws were brass plated NOT solid brass like the switchplates themselves. The screws themselves were a rather soft metal, distorting the head during installation or actually breaking off. Would have expected better for the total price of the products plus the never disclosed that the screws were brass plated.
Discussed with Customer Service to no avail. Apparently even though the GFI switchplates require 1/4 inch screws you only get what is included in the packaging and that is it. As to the screws themselves, no one else had that problem. Bottom line is that you only get what is in the package whether it is correct or not.

Quite frankly I am extremely disappointed in the support that APC provides. After having purchased nine SUA & SMT units, ranging from 1000s through 2200s, in the last two and a total of seventeen units (eight SUA 1000/SMT 1000s, five SMT 15000s, two SUA 2200s, Back-UPS Pro 1100, and even an old Back-UPS 900) over the last five years including countless battery replacements, I would expect better individual support. The only help that APC would provide for an out of warrantee SUA2200 noisy fan is that it is not user replaceable and suggested trading up to a newer unit for hundreds of dollars. This was just nonsense. By removing the top part of the chassis (just four screws) revealed the non-functioning fan. Then pulling four plastic punch rivets removed the fan. Calling Newark, an electronics component distributor, easily secured a replacement ADDA AD0924UB-A71GL, 92mm x 92mm, 24v DC fan. A couple of wire connectors, four crimps, re-assembly, and we were done for less than $15. Now was that so hard for APC to explain? Obviously not worth the paying the premium for APC products given the “true” lack of “real” support.

Extremely pleased by the selection and pricing for lighting solutions. Ordered Black Cross Arm & Balls as a replacement for an existing Pole Lamp, (2) 300W Heavy Duty Touch Dimmers (although the more common Westek brand) and a CFL Touch Dimmer. Arrived in good condition and installed one of the 300W dimmers immediately. Then the problems began. The dimmer failed within 1 day, called Touch & Glow, left a message and no response. Emailed a message and no response. Called and emailed once again and no response. Despite a Customer Service link, they apparently do not have a Customer Service Department and/or do not care about follow on customer service.

Should have read the completely negative reviews on this company prior to ordering the product. The short story is that I ordered PWR-10027-01 AC Adapter 12V 1A Power Supply For Netgear Wireless WGT624 Router. What I received was a D-Link Power Adapter with a physical conversion adapter that did not even have the same specification, i.e. 2amps versus 1amp, etc. I sent it back for a replacement under their "Your Satisfaction is Guaranteed" policy, paid for shipping it back and then received a refund less my original shipping charge eventhough they still advertise the item. Total ripoff and now they will not answer the phone or my emails. Will seek credit from American Express.

Order two (2) Genuine Black HP Toner Cartridges (Q6000A) for my HP 2605dn Color LaserJet Printer. Once again the entire order process was flawless. Not only did they have the best price by over $6 each but also received an additional $5 credit automatically from a previous review. I choose free shipping a received it in two (2) days.
