I was hoping to find a decent price on a Nokia E71. My phone died and needed a phone as soon as possible. The CellsWholesale web site looked credible and it indicated that they have Nokia E71 in stock.
Three days after I have placed an order, a sales rep from CellsWholesale Inc. called me asking to verify my address. I call in and the person who answered was a bit confused since I had already verified the address online. A couple days go by and another sales rep calls asking to verify my address. This time I asked if the phone is not in stock I would like to cancel the order. The sales rep says there is no need to cancel the order and it'll be shipped out that evening. The phone was never been shipped.
Few days later I called in to finally cancel the order followed by an email cancellation request of the order. They replied promptly saying that the money will be refunded back to my credit card in 1 to 3 business days.
It's been 2 weeks since I canceled the order and $389.99 has not yet been refunded. I have sent another email asking to refund my money as soon as possible.
By the way, when I called in 3 times to verify my address and to cancel the order, the people who answered the phone sounded very casual and wasn't quite sure of the order status. I am just hoping that I will get my money back at this point. Otherwise, I will have to see if reporting this incident to the Better Business Bureau or other like agency would do anything to help me get the refund.
