Well, after several months of research I decided to buy my new Canon Lens from Adorama. knowing that I have a limit on my only transactions with my bank (for security reasons) I called my bank before I made my order to make sure that all my ducks were in a row.
Making the online order (Monday 5-12-08) was painless and easy.
Tuesday 5-13 afternoon I sent a letter to Customer service asking about when my order would ship, because it was listed as pending, and recieved a response quite quickly (a couple hours) saying it would ship that evening, Great! I thought. Wed morning 5-14 my package was finally shipped. I also asked a question about the rebate that is starting on the 18th and was told they could not do anything about it until the rebate actually starts (not a big deal I will handle that on monday). so since I recieved the invoice Wed morning I have recieved NO further Communication regarding my order. I watched UPS's movements Very closely to see when my order will arrive, then on Thurday (5-15) morning, I noticed an Exception on UPS's website "THE SHIPPER HAS REQUESTED A DELIVERY INTERCEPT FOR THIS PACKAGE / RETURN TO SENDER PENDING" this confused me, so I eagerly awaited a phone call and or email explaining how they had messed up my order... it the communication NEVER CAME!
So now it is Friday, 5-16, and I have sent an email to customer service requesting Information. since they obviously don't care about customers that spend under $2K. They definitely need to learn how to communicate with their customers.
Oh yeah, and the lens made it all the way to my town before it was turned around. they had 24 hours to contact me... but no they really don't care to sell something to you. OR they won't tell you when they mess up your order!
I will definitely go elsewhere for my next purchase. (and if you cancel my order over this comment I will flame you FOREVER!)

Update:
WOW! I tell you all! this is what you do when you need results from this store LOL. I got a response from them, Leah, was very helpful called up the UPS place and had them hold my order, and I am going to make a trip out to pick it up this evening after work. So! yes they have poor Customer service response, however they DO react when you post something on here.
and one more thing! make sure to make it ABSOLUTELY clear that you don't want them to cancel your order, I asked a simple question about the rebate issue... and without contacting me about it cancelled my order( it may have been an accident).
