I should have researched here before ordering from ProClip. On Sunday 4/29/2012 at 10:55 am I ordered a vehicle mount and adjustable iPhone 4s holder that's compatible with my Otterbox Defender case. It was a little pricey, especially the vehicle mount which is a $1.50 piece of plastic apparently manufactured in Sweden. The holder is another story, it's fairly complex, $39.99 isn't terrible.
On Monday, 4/30/2012 at 6:43 pm I get an email from ProClip saying my order is back-ordered. Wait, it was in stock when I ordered it. It should of said "out of stock" or "1-2 day wait" or whatever. So I try to call. Of course when I get the e-mail they are closed so you can't call.
Tuesday (posting date), 5/1/2012 at 9:30 am I call ProClip. I get a guy who just sounds so happy to be at work (Sarcasm). Actually, he sounded like he hated his job and was probably hung over. He basically didn't care, didn't know anything and his "manager" was unfortunately away at a trade-show this week. How convenient. He wouldn't expedite shipping nor was he able to tell me when the item will be in stock. He then stated "we get daily updates from the manufacturer" and then when I asked to get a hold of the manufacturer and ask them about the mount he contradicted himself and said "Well, they are in Sweden so we may not get a response till tomorrow".
I called exactly when their business opened, they get daily updates. They won't know till tomorrow? I told them I wanted a call back today at 4:00 pm their time (5:00 pm my time) or I would cancel the order.
I will update as proceeding, but so far - they are crap to order from.
