1/5

Hit or miss, take your chances. They get some things right and some things wrong. I first used Dealextreme over 5 years ago and back then they were smaller and in my opinion quite good. But as they got bigger they got worse not better because they seemed to increasingly miss and I've heard similar from others.
When they get it right, they have great prices for China sourced goods (which it seems is just about everythings these days) for the price of a little extra wait for the post. But when they mess up it smarts because dealing long distance with their so called Customer Service is a challenge.
My most recent fiasco - I waited 2+mos only to find out (myself) that the product I ordered was backordered (I never received any comms from DX to that effect). I decided to cancel and request a refund (twice, waiting 30-min each time for my turn with Live Chat; forget email, I never received replies) each time they said it would be 2-3 weeks. Well that was about 5-weeks ago.
I might consider them again in the future for dollar-store type trinkets if I can't find them elsewhere. But for something time sensitive or more than $20, I'm staying away. (Amazon's looking better all the time.)
