I pre-ordered one of the new Flir e30bx IR cameras for delivery in Mid-May. Unfortunately Flir has had problems delivering the cameras -- problems with firmware and supply. The net effect was that TruTechTools couldn't make the make the mid-May schedule.

The representatives at TruTechTools were very responsive to inquiries and when it became apparent that Flir couldn't fulfill pre-orders anytime soon, they went to work to see what Flir could do for us.

For those of us who needed a camera sooner rather than later, TruTechTools secured a limited number of Flir B50 cameras. So instead of an e30xb, I have a B50.

The b50 has been easy to use and has a few more features that the e30bx. I'm very happy with the exchange.

The folks at TruTechTools are responsive, knowledgeable and very helpful. Perhaps the only mistake they made in this case was to attempt to promise delivery of a product that wasn't yet shipping from the manufacturer. Nonetheless, they have the best interests of their customers in mind and I appreciate their efforts.
