I needed parts for my Kitchen Aid (Whirlpool) dishwasher. The site knew my model and it was easy to navigate between different exploded diagrams of my machine and select the correct parts. A navigation panel appeared on the left of my screen, allowing selection of a diagram. To the right, the screen was split in half so I could view the enlarged drawing in the top half and the parts list on the bottom. Parts selection and ordering was very easy. Two days later, my package arrived in fine condition and containing exactly what I had ordered. The parts fit and my dishwasher is repaired. The only negative things I have to say, which are minor, are the following: 1) I thought I was ordering parts manufactured by Whirlpool, but they were made by another company. I wish this had been made more clear on the Web site. 2) The parts were very expensive, especially considering that they were are genuine originals. Some parts are incredibly expensive, such as $5 for a single sheetmetal screw, but I didn't order screws. 3) One of the parts seems to be made of a different material than the original. The original plastic bushing was opaque and looked similar to teflon while the replacement was translucent and looked more like nylon. Regardless, I'd buy from them again.

I ordered two books, one hardcover and one soft, advertised as new, on 10/22/03. They arrived two weeks later. The softcover was bent a bit but acceptable. The hardcover, however, had scuffed and scratched covers, front and back. The back cover had been imprinted twice, upside down by a high-impact stamper with gold leaf. This covered approximately 8 square inches of the book's text, obscuring it. The stamp reads "SPECIAL COPY CANNOT BE RETURNED" and includes a logo that reads "Pearson Education". I was able to scrape off the gold leaf but the back cover is permanently embossed. This was certainly not a new condition book. I will keep it but I will never buy from them again.

I found TheNerds.net through a MySimon search for an LG Electronics L1800P LCD monitor. MySimon showed a shipping charge of $25 but TheNerds site's showed over $50. I sent email asking if I could get the $25 shipping rate but have never received a response. I needed the monitor, so I ordered anyway. Confirming email was sent very quickly. UPS tracking information was available well within 24 hours, as promised. UPS indicated they got the package the very next day and I had my monitor in a total of 5 days, which included a weekend. The box contained exactly what I ordered, in fine condition and it worked perfectly. I thought $51 shipping for a 24 pound item to be excessive, but I would consider buying from them again.
