Bought a lense sold as "REFURBISHED" description says it is refurbished by manufacturer and is GUARANTEED to work in perfect condition. The product still had the previous customers information, and the product does not work. I bought a refurbished 24-70 from Beachcamera (Buydig). The AF does not work at all and there is a grating sound coming from the lense. I do hope they will accept the return otherwise I will dispute with the CC. The product was misrepresented. Beachcamera/Buydig is supposed to be a NIkon Authorized dealer, this is why I placed my order with them. I have also bought thousands worth of products and referred multiple people to them.

UPDATE: Received RMA# for return of merchandise. Will update further.

UPDATE: Received credit for transaction. I was not satisfied with the product, but the customer service was excellent. No problems with the return.

17th Street Photo is a small store sort of opposite Adorama. Adorama is on 18th st. and 17th is, well on 17th street. The store is small but nice and clean. The staff are nice. I had been trying to get my hands on a diminishing supply of a D3S. I called the night before and was told there was supply with them. When I went to the store, Orlando helped me with the purchase. He was going to let me try a demo but there was none. I already knew the product so I told him I would buy it. Transaction was smooth. No pressure sales. Orlando was very helpful and pleasant. The price of the D3S was not gouged up, and was just the regular price. I would highly recommend the store. Orlando also let me inspect the product before I took it home.

I tried to order with Norman Camera but their process is tedious and does not make sense. I had tried to order a D3S for an event tomorrow. The credit card showed the item was charged. When I called to verify my order, I was given to a different person and told they were running my card for fraud verification check. I was told to wait. I did and called back later in the day. They were not specific with why my order was declined. They mentioned it did not pass through verification. I asked for specifics because I want to make and order and fix any problem, etc. They did not give me any specifics when asked. I wanted to know if there was anything amiss. I had called my credit card company and was told everything was fine on their end. I understand the importance of fraud protection, surveillance, etc., but when the owner of the credit card is declined, and even when the credit card company does not have any holds or problems on their end, then there is a problem. The credit card company even stated they were not contacted by this merchant or any other agency. I will not recommend this merchant and will not buy from them again.
