In Dec of 2008, I purchased a 3yr warranty for a Canon Rebel XSi. One year later, I am trying to reach RepairTech to file a claim for a minor repair. Of course, all phone numbers have been disconnected and web site is no longer up. Reading this forum I tried the phone number to AmTrust Financial: 1-800-663-9978. I was impressed that someone actually answered. But she told me that they only took over warranties from RepairTech purchased between 6/2008 and 1/2009. And that they only are servicing some of those plans, particularly ones that have a service contract number that starts with a "4." Mine started with a "1." Good luck to those trying to make a claim. I hope you have a "4." I will be following up with the FTC and Florida's attorney general.
