1/5

I bought an audiobook for $12. I could've bought the CD from Amazon for the same, but decided on instant gratification so I could listen to it on the way to work the next day.
After my purchase, I'm told I have to have the Audible app to download my purchase. Ok, fine. I then download a file that I have to use iTunes to burn to a CD. Ok. I download iTunes and burn the disc. When I playback the disc, I notice that the tracks are not divided by chapter, but into 8 minute intervals, often mid-sentence and there's a 2 second gap between the tracks, which I realize I can change, but didn't realize the tracks would be cut by time and not by chapter. As I continue to listen, I find that my disc burn somehow messed up during the burning of track 6 (funny.. I never get bad burns when using WMP). When I go to reburn the CD, this time remembering to get rid of the 2 second gap between tracks, I'm told I'm not allowed because I already burned a CD!!!
I then decided to copy the audiobook to my Blackberry, which Audible allows. I'm told I have to download an Audible app for my BlackBerry to play the proprietary file format. But when I run the program, I get an error that I can't get around and am still unable to play my download!
So I've spent $12 on instant gratification but have yet been able to play my audiobook!
Fortunately, an email to Audible got me a refund within 24 hours, but until Audible fixes these SEVERAL problems, I will not be buying another audiobook from them.
