"I have the absolute worst experience dealing with HSN, from your awful website design, to horrible customer service. My grandmother who doesn't know how to use a computer, wanted me to order her a "little steamer" from your Joy Mangano collection back in August. I attempted to use your website to do so several times, yet even after creating a user account, was redirected to a log in page every time I tried to check out; even after logging in and out several times the website still wouldn't process my request. I then tried to call customer service to try to place a phone order after becoming extremely irritated when failing to place an online order. The woman on the other end of the phone was polite, and helpful, and I was able to give her my grandmother's credit card information, home address, and phone number in order for her product to be delivered successfully. I was assured that the product would arrive by September 6, 2011. That date came and went, and so did several weeks. We received no phone call, no email, no nothing to indicate she wouldn't be receiving her Little Steamer. I received a phone call from her today saying she received her credit card statement, and no HSN purchases were showing. I immediately called customer service to see what had happened to her order and was rudely told that my elderly grandmother would have to call and speak with a representative because the account wasn't in my name and they couldn't access order information for me. I find that to be extremely interesting considering your representatives would take my grandmother's money without her personally placing the order, but when your team screws the order up, and now her item is out of stock, I can't get information as to why the purchase was never processed in the first place. For a company that's supposed to specialize in ordering products from home, I have never had a worse experience in my life trying to get a simple product delivered. The treatment I've received from HSN is utterly appalling and I will NEVER be attempting to order another product from you again. This is exactly why I try to shop local as often as possible because it's disgustingly large companies such as yourselves that continue to shit on the consumer and expect them to keep coming back because it's "convenient" . I found nothing convenient or user friendly about the entire experience; maybe you should rethink your business model if that's supposed to be your aim. I will be spreading the word about this and telling people to rethink purchasing anything from your sorry excuse for a company. Thank you for nothing. "

This is an email I just sent HSN this morning. I am so horrified with the experience I've had with this company I will NEVER be ordering from them again. For a company that's supposed to specialize in home shopping, they are pathetic and a complete waste of time. Don't waste your time, money, or patience on them.
