It has always been a pleasure to shop online with Mwave! I ordered a 4GB set of DDR2 ram (2 x 2GB) on the 13th, got my order on the 19th, with a weekend in between. Fantastic!

Other online stores won't always stand by their prices, have slow shipping, or lame excuses why they can't do what it takes to keep you as a customer. I have NEVER had a problem with Mwave, and will continue to shop with them for as long as they remember the cardinal rule....it's the customers that make the store, not the other way around!

Ordered 12/18, received 12/20! Especially at this time of year, I consider that outstanding!!
Every order from every online retailer should be just like this!!

Placed an order a week ago, for some batteries, using Google checkout. This past weekend, 5 days after the order was placed, I get an e-mail from this company, telling me my order might be delayed because FILM is being discontinued.......hey, I didn't order film! I ordered BATTERIES!!!

Today, finally, a week after ordering, they cancel the order. Why? Because, evidentally, batteries are also discontinued! Geez, it's no wonder these morons have a rating as low as they do!

I'm just glad I did the order through Google, so I know my credit card wasn't charged. No telling what could have happened otherwise!

Smooth sailing, so far! Ordered a pair of replacement inkjet cartridges for my Lexmark printer, but haven't had to replace the old ones yet, so no idea if I'll have any problems with these or not (some OEM's are better than others, ya know?).
I'm sure, though, that if I do run into any problems, that Meritline will do me right. We'll see!

Wow. Amazing! How can an "internet super store" have such crummy customer service, so consistantly?? Maybe because it's SUPER bad customer service??

Here's what's happened so far:
October 4th - Order placed, checkout through Google checkout.
October 6th - Notification of shipment from Buy, USPS delivery confirmation number given.
October 9th - checked USPS website, no joy on the delivery confirmation number (now I know, as most everyone does, that USPS has the WORST tracking capability of anyone......so I'll give it a couple more days, maybe between the weekend and the holiday, they haven't updated the info yet).
October 11th - STILL no joy on USPS website. They don't even have any record that the number provided by Buy is a good one, and pretty much tell me that the tracking number does NOT exist.

This is when I decide to e-mail Buy.com's customer service on their website. But OOOPS!! that doesn't seem to be working! After a 15 minute search, I find a customer service 800 number, and get their wonderful call center in India. After spending 5 minutes on ignore, and another 5 minutes proving that I'm really me, the CSR tells me that according to the website, the package shipped on October 6th, and gives me the tracking number. Gee, thanks! I go round and round with this woman, and finally get fed up with her and ask to speak to a supervisor....and she claims she's a supervisor! I tell her "Lady, unless you OWN buy.com, you have a boss, and I'd like to speak to that person.

10 more minutes on ignore......and finally, I get a supervisor! After giving them the pertinent info, they tell me the EXACT SAME THING THE CSR TOLD ME!!!!! Geez, what a dummy I am, I can't even find that info on the website, huh??

Even though I'm ready to slap someone right about now, I ask very nicely if possibly they can't get ahold of the warehouse, and ask them if the package REALLY shipped? And maybe get them to ensure that the tracking number is correct?? This is what we call CUSTOMER SERVICE, lady!!

If I don't have any info by Friday, I'm calling the corporate offices, and lighting up someone's life there. More later!

As always, Newegg delivers, on time and at the best possible price! :)
I've heard a lot of complaints about their new UPS shipping, but I'm a fan of it. While Fedex used to take 5 days to ship from CA to TX, UPS is doing it in 3. So what's to complain about? If you know you're not going to be home, you CAN call UPS, and request they hold it at their facility for pickup, or even put your work address as an alternate address with your CC company, then have it delivered there.
Newegg is consistant, like so few other online retailers, and has never given me reason to mistrust or dislike them. Keep it up guys!

They had the best price, shipped, that I was able to find for "carbon fiber" look vinyl laminate, so I decided to take a chance.
What a pleasant surprise! The material was better quality than I had expected, was shipped quickly, and over-protected in a shipping container that was much larger than they might have tried to get away with.
I can definitely recommend these guys off of this one order, and will definitely remember them the next time I'm in the market for this sort of item.

Worst experience ever! Went to their website via Pricewatch, to buy a power supply tester I needed. Page on their website said the price was $14.99 with free shipping. But when I clicked on "ADD TO CART", my shopping cart said it was $18.99!!

Called customer service, got a CSR who was only able to tell me that the page she pulled up said $18.99, and that was the price. I told her that if I have a page that says $14.99, they have to sell it at that price, which she refused to do. She transferred me to the higher section of their customer service department, where another lady told me the same thing. I asked her 'if you walked into a store, and grabbed an item off the shelf that said $14.99, and it rang up at the register at $18.99, what would you do?', to which she replied, 'I just wouldn't buy that item!'

Fine. You lost not only today's sale because you weren't willing to match a price you had listed on your own website, but every other potential sale you could have had from me in the future. And I'll be sure to pass this price gouging along to everyone who's willing to listen. I've heard similar stories on good deal websites and forums, but ignored them, until now! This company used to be good, but they've gone downhill FAST!

Stay away......stay far, far away!!

Like some others, I ordered 2 of the video cards they had for sale. They shipped within 1 day, and arrived quickly and well packaged.

I haven't had a chance to test the video card, but found out that Woot had had some people that had bad ones, and offered a full refund, a $15 credit back to all customers that didn't take the refund, and made certain that the manufacturer would honor the 1 year warrantee on the cards.

I challenge anyone to find another online retailer that would bend over backwards to make certain that every customer was satisfied on a deal that went wrong for a few people. Especially when they state on their site that they don't (normally) do refunds!!

To me, my impression of this company is embodied by their name.....WOOT!! :)

I've done some small orders through this retailer, and decided to take the plunge on a larger order when a friend wanted a system built inexpensively.

I found an XP2000 barebones on sale for a good price, and ordered on 7/26/04. It was shipped on 7/27, and arrived at my door (in TX) on 7/30. Great!!

Of course, for this price, I didn't expect great components, but was surprised that for the most part, I got better than what I had paid for. The only problem I ran into was how to install front fans on a case where it's nearly impossible to remove the front bezel! Oh well....not a big deal, as I just used another case I had available, and will figure out this one at another time.

Good prices, great shipping time, with exceptional e-mail contact from Bill. Exactly what I'd expect from an online retailer! :)

My second order from pcrightnow, and both have been extremely satisfactory in every way.

E-mail notification of every portion of your order is outstanding (order verification, items shipped, tracking info, tracking update, and finally items delivered), and Bill had DHL delivery to me 2 days after I ordered (on a Sunday, no less), from FL to TX. Great!!

Keep up with this kind of service, and PCRightNow will soon be one of my favorite online retailers!!

I placed an order online yesterday for the 256mb pc2100ddr ram chip (needed one fast, and that was the best deal I found anywhere for namebrand ddr ram) and an "adjustable secretary task chair" (item # 536-888) that was advertised as $24.99, with a $12.02 mail in rebate, or $12.97 after rebate (nice enough price for a cheap-o chair).

My order arrived today, while I was at work, so when I get online, I go to the OD website to print out the rebate forms. No problem finding the rebate form for the ram, but lo and behold, no joy on finding one for the chair.

After an hour and 15 minutes on the phone with:
1. OD customer service, who says they can't find it either, please call the rebate center (also an 800 number)
2. The rebate center number that OD csr gave me, which says no one answers this number, call this other number (also an 800 number)
3. The second rebate center number, where, after 10-15 minutes, I finally get to talk to someone that says I have to talk to a rebate center csr that deals exclusively with OD rebates, and can you please call this other 800 number?
4. The super-special rebate center csr that deals exclusively with OD rebates, who tells me, "we don't have the rebate forms here, you'll have to call OD customer service"!!! ACK!!!!
5. Back to OD customer service, where I ask for a manager, and get Sheila the csr that knows for sure she can help me. Okay, it's only been about 45 minutes on the phone now, I'll be nice and see what she can do for me. Sheila looks and looks and looks, and finally says, "OH! That's an IN STORE ONLY deal!!". No, it's not, says I.......I have the ad right here in front of me, and nowhere does it say that near that item. We argue back and forth for a minute or so, then she finally tells me that she's going to call my local store and see what she can do for me. Sheila comes back about 7 minutes later, and says she spoke with the manager at my local OD, and they're going to do me a favor, and print out a copy of the mail in rebate from the register for me.
However, without a register receipt to go with that, I just KNOW it's gonna get rejected. Oh, and I either have to drive across town to pick up this useless rebate form, or they'll mail it to me (oh, and by the way, it has to be postmarked by the end of the week, in order to qualify for the rebate). She makes certain to tell me that this is a one time good deal she's arranged for me.

Gee.......uh.......thanks, but no thanks!!

I hold my temper, and tell her that while I appreciate all the hard work she's done for me, I'm still screwed. Nowhere in the ad does it say this rebate is for an in-store only purchase. The rebate form, while welcome, is useless to me. Oh, and if I had wanted to drive across town to get the stupid rebate form, I would've gone there to get the chair and the ram in the first place!!

Here's what you're going to do for me, Sheila. You're either going to provide me with an internet address where I can download and print a rebate form, or you're going to credit back my card for the $12.02 that I'm due from the rebate. She tells me she's not authorized to do that, as only a manager can do that. Gee, didn't I ask for one of those 20 minutes ago, when you first got on the phone with me?????? Why don't you go find one now, and get them on the phone?????

Finally, about 8 to 10 minutes later, she tells me that the manager has authorized her to credit back my card for the $12.02, once again, and a one time courtesy to me. Gee, Sheila, thanks ever so much for bending over backwards for me!!

If this is what Office Depot calls "customer service", I'd say it's time they take some lessons in quality of service!! I've placed hundreds of dollars in orders through OD, but I'm going to seriously give a second thought to ordering from them again, if cruddy CS is the best they can manage!!

I've used these guys multiple times, and have never been disappointed! I especially like the fact that you can get a discount on every order you get, just by being a customer there!! :)

Definitely, they're included in my bookmarked sites.
