I was delighted with Well.ca's eclectic selection of products. ("I'm going to order some skin cream...and packing tape! And, salad dressing!")

My orders ship the day after I place them and arrive about four business days after that by UPS or Purolator.

In a recent order, I ordered some canned food, but was somewhat disappointed that most of the cans were dented. This is probably the fault of the shipper rather than Well.ca, so I will confine my purchases to less breakable items in the future.

Other than that I'm glad to know I can buy products I would typically buy at a health food store, without having to drive for an hour to get to a health food store.

Now I know why iHerb only has a mediocre rating on this site.

iHerb has a referral program. If someone else uses your code when they sign up, you'll get commissions on what they order. However, ResellerRatings wants reviews to be genuine. So, anyone who gets a commission for a review they post here gets their review removed. Sorry about that guys. I had a temporary lapse of TOS.

As for me, I had a great experience. I placed an order on a Monday, received an email on Tuesday that it had cleared customs, saw the DHL driver drive by my house without stopping on Wednesday, and had the order in my hands in rural Canada on Thursday. Expiry dates were 2013 on one item and 2017 on the other; i.e. about two and five years from the date I placed the order. Even after shipping and brokerage, I saved about $10 on one product, and as a bonus, I didn't have to drive an hour to the city to get it. The other product I ordered isn't available in Canada at all.

For anyone else that shops at iHerb, a company providing service as excellent as this deserves a better rating here. Please consider posting a review, without your referral code.

Radiant Life sells excellent, high quality health products. It's too bad that their shipping to Canada is very expensive; I expect they could do better with other carriers. I also noticed that Radiant Life charges me about $5 more than USPS rates.

I needed my smoke detectors right away so called to ask if they could possibly ship the same day. Not only was the answer yes, but I had a tracking number exactly 11 minutes after I placed my order! Very happy and would shop here again.

The glasses I received from Eyeglass Lens Direct weren't made correctly. If I really strained, I could see properly, but I couldn't do that for very long or I'd get a headache. If I didn't strain, I couldn't see properly and that eventually gave me a headache too. After a few days of this I had my new glasses measured. Much to my dismay, the PD was 3.5 mm narrower than my prescription. (By Eyeglass Lens Direct's own admission, the margin of error for my prescription is only 2 mm.)

At Eyeglass Lens Direct's request, I sent the glasses back at my expense. When I asked for an explanation of what was wrong, the owner changed his story and contradicted himself three times. Then he stopped responding to my emails. At this point, I discovered the biggest problem: Eyeglass Lens Direct is a one-man show. There's no customer service department or supervisor to ask for. It's just one guy.

I filed a claim with PayPal. I sent in a letter from my doctor and won the claim. I got the money back for the lenses, but Eyeglass Lens Direct never returned my frames.

I think that ClearlyContacts / CoastalCotacts has the best website of any online optician I've tried. It was very easy to select some frames that exactly matched the size of my old ones. I received my order a day ahead of schedule and am delighted with my new frames. The nose pads were not symmetrical and needed adjusting, but a few minutes with some round-nose pliers solved the problem. Also the temples needed reshaping but I just sat the new frames beside the old ones and shaped them to match. Very happy and would purchase my next pair of glasses here.

I'm very happy with the variety of products Uline has to offer. They had boxes in stock in the exact size I needed, so I didn't need to make custom boxes as I was told by several local suppliers. Their prices are competitive, even after shipping. I had one shipment arrive damaged by UPS, and they promptly replaced it with no hassle at all.

I needed to purchase a gaussmeter and an RF Power Meter and Emil was very helpful when I was trying to choose which ones. I needed them right away and they happily upgraded my shipping for a very reasonable price. Less EMF also promptly responded to an email I sent after receiving the items in which I asked some usage questions. Very happy and would shop at Less EMF again.

Edited: Sadly, the toner here is no longer as good as it once was. Typically I have problems like the colour appearing "blotchy" or a very light colour over the entire paper. They promptly responded to my email, and issued an RMA number. Unfortunately the replacements also had problems.

I ordered some reset chips for my printer from EasyInkAndToner.com. The chips arrived, as well as some toner...but I hadn't ordered it! I emailed them to let them know about what happened and asked where I should send it back. Surprisingly, they told me just to keep it!

I have made several orders from EasyInkAndToner.com. All went very smoothly, though this one was the only one with a present :)
