I have purchased items from JR in the past. They ship promptly and items arrive (coast-to-coast) in perfect condition. Highly recommended.

I have purchased items from ZZF for a number of years, without a hitch. Shipping can be slow for those on the east coast, since they seem to have only one distribution center (in California). But if you are in CA, and can swallow the recent sales tax hikes, ZZF is a good place to shop.

They have some interesting tech items. The quality is not the highest, but they have many sales (including coupons for specific items), which make them acceptable. They are in California, but in many cases shipments arrive from Asia, so it can take upwards of two weeks for items to arrive.

They can do a better job at store pickup. It takes forever to find my items, and in my most recent example, they couldn't find the item that was reserved and they gave me one that was held for someone else. Not very professional. What if the person drove a long way to pick up the item? Live and learn: after getting a confirmation email, before heading out to the store call to confirm item is indeed being held.

Highly recommended. They have multiple warehouses across the country for fast shipment. Customer service, returns you name it all rated high. Great merchant.

If you are addicted to sales, stay away from Woot Off. It keeps people up all nigh and it aint worth it (even if you snag a BOC).

The company has a number of related Websites:

I purchased from the retail site, after finding Battery House via Google Shopping. I took a chance (as the site has no ratings) and was very pleased. My items were shipped an hour later, arrived via Fedex within a reasonable time (beats buying from Asia), and packed nicely and in perfect condition.

In Hong Kong time: Ordered Wed, Oct 29th, early afternoon and received an email Tue, 11/3 (5 days later) that is was shipped. HK mail shows the pkg being dropped off 11/4, and staying in HK until the 11th.

In US time: it arrived in the US on the 13th and at its final destination on the 16th.

Moral of the story: unless you can wait 3.5 weeks for your order to arrive, order from someone else. The items were great, but the order processing and shipping time leaves something to be desired.

Great site, owned by Amazon. Shipping was fast. Too fast. I tried to change the shipping address an hour later (in the evening) but it was already packed and ready to ship. They said, at no cost, I can refuse shipment and order again to the new address. Good selection and service.

I purchased a number of items from them. Many of their clothes look cheap, so I wouldn't buy these online; however, I have purchased name-brand household items, and after coupons found online (for % off and free shipping), they were reasonably price and convenient (shipped). They started getting tougher with coupons, so I may not be buying from them as often in the future.

Processing usually takes 2 days. Standard shipping can take more than a week if shipped to the west coast, but usually 2-3 days if shipped to the east coast.

Really messed up ordering process. I had a couple of orders. This order, for sale item, was canceled for lack of inventory. The second one, half was canceled for lack of inventory (same items as in this order), and I wouldn't have ordered the rest if not for the items canceled. So I paid retail + shipping for something I don't want.

Edit: they are sending me a $10 gift card (instead of refunding the $9 shipping fee). Reasonable compromise so I will adjust my customer service ratings higher.

Orders take 24hr to be verified. After that, it was shipped immediately (UPS ground). I was pleased with the speed and service. Will shop there again.

Seems like a new store, started this month (November 2009). (yutoyshop.com was registered in May.) They seem legit... all the "verified" logos on Website don't necessarily mean much, because there is not much verifying of a business or service. (As long as store pays a fee, they can pretty much have any "verified" logo.) My order was canceled because the shipping and billing address needs to be the same, and since address was recipient's, it didn't match what was on (billing) record with credit card. They seem legit but considering my order wasn't actually shipped, and I didn't fully experience their service (they didn't respond to my 2 of 2 emails, so rating there is 5/10), I would like to see more reviews before trying them again.
Edit: They have modified their billing system today (Nov 22) and items can be shipped to a different address.

Order was shipped the same day and, because Office Depot has many distribution centers, order arrived the next day. Unless I order a super deal, where the company gets 10s of thousands of orders in one day, I expect the same good service again.
