AJ Madison has lousy customer service, so bad it can't be called service at all. They maintain the high ratings on their own web site because they don't post negative ratings. I ordered three appliances, delivery was delayed twice because the delivery firm would call after 5 pm to tell us the delivery would be the next day, and we would have to reschedule because nobody could be home at the time they chose. That's the short part of the story. After delivery, my kitchen installation was delayed. When the box for the dishwasher was opened it looked like somebody had rolled the dishwasher down a hill. Every corner top and bottom was broken. Aj Madison said it was too late, they couldn't replace it, my only option was to place a warranty claim. They said their website is clear on how long you have to place a claim, so I reminded them that I actually came into their showroom twice, one. Time to make sure my plates fit the dishwasher. Kitchenaid sent a repairman who said the dishwasher is totaled. BUT, they are claiming that every part is replaceable, so the repairman is going to have to rebuild the dishwasher. So, instead of a top if the line brand new dishwasher, I'll have a refurbished, rebuilt model. I've put in a claim through Amex, so we will se what happens. Reading other reviews, it looks like the amount of time doesn't actually matter.
