I purchased two items (on separate occasions) from Beyond the Rack, one a full length mirror and another one a storage rack from their website. This is the first time purchasing from them. I received the mirror and subsequently purchased the storage rack.
Some notes for anyone curious about trying them out (as reference, items were shipping to Toronto, Canada):
- PRO: The ordering process was simple.
- PRO: Shipping to Canada was surprisingly very quick as I got both of the products within 2 weeks. One was shipping via UPS and the other shipped via Canada Post. Based on the timelines outlined on the Beyond the Rack website, I was thinking it would be closer to 1 month or over 1 month.
- PRO: Products appear legitimate and are not rip-offs.
- CON: I'm not a fan of their shipping cost of $11.50 since it is a complete ripoff if you purchase smaller items. However, I was a first-time user and was able to take advantage of their new customer credit of $20 for signing up, so that made the purchase worth it.
- NEUTRAL: Some products on their website are quite a bit cheaper than the same exact product you find elsewhere. Other products are not cheap at all. E.g. the Linon full length mirror I purchased was $90 with the $20 discount. However, the smaller rectangular mirror of the same style costs over $100 at Bed, Bath and Beyond in Canada. So this is a significant discount.
- CON: They do not have a huge selection of vendors. Most of the vendors re-circulate every week or two. So if you do miss one deal, just check back every so often for it.
OVERALL: Good experience. I would buy again from them if I find good items.
