First of all, congratulations on your completed or pending purchase of beautiful craftsmanship from ERD! My fiance purchased my oval shaped engagement ring from Mark Turnowski in May 2009 and we were extremely satisfied with the stunning and budget-friendly ring that he custom designed. Our satisfaction resulted in our return for both of our wedding band purchases.
After living in NYC for the past 15 years, you come to know that there are alot of people trying to hustle and make shady deals, especially in the famed “Diamond District!” Then there are the rare “diamonds” that provide exceptional brilliance and fire among their dull counterparts, and that is where Mark Turnowski shines through!!
We were initially quite skeptical about even setting foot into the diamond district, but as adventurous New Yorkers, we took the chance and found Mark Turnowski and his team to be some of the most patient, friendly and knowledgeable men out there. Mark immediately made each visit to his beautiful office professional, but at the same time personable, which allowed my fiance and I to feel trusting and comfortable in his presence. These factors are extremely important when you are about to purchase an expensive piece of jewelry that materially symbolizes your love to your partner.
During the creation of my engagement ring, Mark made himself present via email, telephone and office visits (and I’m talking after hour office visits). One of his partner’s, Theodore, was also extremely patient and efficient with providing computer generated images of my setting each step of the way. Whenever, I had a question, he would immediately clarify or send follow up images to ensure that I was satisfied with the design. When I received my ring, it exceeded my expectations in both beauty and design, which is one of the reasons why I have told many people and will continue to recommend people to ERD.
