Ordered a NEC Superscript 860 toner cartridge on 7/6/2006 and product was delivered as scheduled via UPS on 7/12/2006. Upon opening the package noted the cartridge was damaged (toner ink everywhere. Whew what a mess!). Anyway, I called the toll free number for Inksite and informed them of my problem. Michael took the call and immediately said he would look into my problem. The printer is old and they no longer make the cartridges I was told. So he called around to see if he could find me another. When he called back, he said the distributor said they had one more cartridge but that the box was slightly damaged but offered that they could wrap the toner cartridge in more bubble wrap in order to protect it.
Well, I wasn’t comfortable with the notion, and suggested a refund. He said he understood and I promptly received an email stating the refund had been made.
I will be purchasing a new printer to replace this one now.
I really appreciated Michael’s professionalism in handling the problem encountered with my order. I will not hesitate to give him my business in the future.
Although he was not able to fulfill my needs this time, he will definitely get my business on my next toner cartridge purchase. Customer service is first rate!
