“I ordered an AceKard2i from them on 10/17 and received an order complete email a week later. I still have not received the product, and emails to support@consolesource.com has gone unanswered. I would not buy from this company again and would advise other not to do so as well. Now I have to call my CC company to dispute the charge. This is the first time I have ever need to do that with an online purchase.

EDIT: Of course, I received the card the after I posted this negative review. I am glad I finally got it after 3 weeks. According to postage, it was shipped on 26th.”

“This order was placed and payment received on Oct 17. The Free Ground Shipping option chosen by the customer is advertised to take up to 3 weeks for delivery. The customer acknowledges receiving the package on Nov 4. Therefore the package was delivered within the specified timeframe.”

“We ordered the Canon Rebel T1i DSLR camera (body only) because they had the cheapest price compared to everyone else (an extra 10% from google really helped). After a few days, they called my wife but she wasn't able to answer the phone, and since they didn't leave any messages, my wife never called back.

A few more days went by and still no shipping confirmation. Then they called my wife again and did leave a message this time about calling them back (didn't say why though). So my wife called them back but no one answered. Another week went by and still no shipping confirmation, so I finally called them and asked if they plan to ship the camera. They first say they will ship immediately, then later emailed me saying that they are out of stock! I couldn't believe it so I called them back to cancel, of course, they somehow managed to find some more in the back. So they said they will ship out immediately but that took a few more days and I finally got it after more than 3 weeks.

I would never buy from them again. The price was good but obviously, they want to sell other overpriced accessories with the call back (or useless warranty). There are plenty of other online retailers who ships promptly and they don't cost that much more (hello Newegg).”

“I didn't bother to read the reviews here before I ordered my TV console from Cymax (audio-video-furniture). After placing the order, I immediately got the invoice and the post-sale survey via email. In the email, it says that a shipping/tracking number will be provided within 3 to 5 days. During this time, I didn't hear from them and I began to worry. I read through all the negative reviews here and I became really concerned.

So after about 8 business days, I emailed Cymax about my order and my email was bounced back! Now, I am really worried, what kind of business would let their email address (which I found on their site) be unavailable? So I waited one more day and then called the toll free number listed on their site. I couldn't reach anyone, so I left them a message and waited a couple more days.

At this point, they have not returned my phone call so I was about to call my credit card company to cancel, when the delivery company (guess they contract with local furniture/delivery companies) to schedule a delivery. Later that day, I got an email from Cymax replying to my original email inquiry (which I thought was undelivered, very strange and something they should fix, maybe they are inundated with emails) and said that the delivery company will be contacting me shortly.

The delivery company shipped my TV console without any problems. All in all, I got the unit about 2.5 weeks after I ordered, which isn't too bad if Cymax had actually replied/called me back to keep me up to date.

I am satisfied with my purchase (no tax + free delivery). The only other place that sells this TV console was Bob's discount furniture but they make you pay $60 delivery fee (on top of state tax), and Bob didn't give me a choice of a different finish. I would probably buy from Cymax again but I will be more patient.
