First off I don't normally post things on the web, but... I had such a positive experience with V&M Innovations that I felt I just HAD to say something!
In todays’ marketplace where it seems like folks just don't give a darn and they're in just for the money, it is really nice when a company goes the extra mile to make things right and satisfy the customer, ME!
I had done a lot of researching (leading up to cyber Monday) for some speakers. Not just any ol' speakers, but ones that were meant to fit a specific need (replace the factory OEM speakers in my GM Delco/Bose/Surround sound system).
After checking all the specs and prices, I settled for the Kickers because they came in all the sizes and had the best specs for the price.
V&M's prices weren't the lowest (they were close) and they didn't offer any crazy blowout cyber Monday deals on them either :( But, they did have all of the specs and details laid out nicely and were the only ones to include an additional years warranty on top of the manufacturers one year warranty, making them a "no-brainer" as far as choices go.
I bid on one set during the weekend leading up to Cyber Monday (which was a mistake on my part, I should’ve just clicked the "buy it now") just to try to hold them. That particular item they 'did' have the best price on.
On Monday, even though the price didn't change, I pulled the trigger on the other two items to make sure that I got them. Now all I had to do was wait for the other one, and I'd be all set, right? (Here's where things got a little dicey, read on...)
As it turns out, one of the items I ordered had been sold out and through email I was offered the choice of some other speaker or a refund. Naturally I was disappointed, now I had one of the three items I needed shipping, one I was monitoring to make sure I could win and the other not available. Through the volley of emails we were exchanging, I became confused about just which items had shipped and which ones were out.
After a restless night’s sleep, I called and spoke with Scott (a V&M customer service rep) and he was able to not only straighten out my confusion on my orders, but also assist me in purchasing the final set of speakers needed to complete my project!
Thanks to Scotts courtesy and knowledge I was able to get the products I needed to do my thing! :)
I ordered the other set from another company and everything wound up arriving within a day of each other.
I have never had an experience that (at first seemed like it was going to be a bit of a headache) turn out so well for me!
I think the phone call was the turning point, but hey, talking to people is always a better way to clear confusion than email (IMHO).
Bottom line, I couldn't be happier with the service, products and experience that I got with V&M Innovations and I will definitely shop with them again if they have something that I want. I won't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family too!
